This is going to seem like an inconsequential question, and in the grand scheme of things i suppos it is.

Was he a good carpenter? Did he like it?

I only ask this because many of the old Daoist masters and Buddhist sages did hold down other types of jobs on the side. At times, what they did exemplified the manner in which they taught.

And you can tell a lot about a person from the way they approach their work.

I was on Forbes.com and I was looking at the most expensive houses. One of them was $165 million and had 29 rooms and 40 bathrooms. Why would it have 40 bathrooms?? Do people spend more time in the bathroom when they have a big house?

According to the CBO estimates in order to pay for the Schip program expansion 22 million more people must start smoking within the next 6 years.

They also have said that the arguement that says the program is paid for is flawed because that estimate assumes that in the next 6 years 6 million people will be moved OFF the program. I dont seem to remember ANY social program that has ever been decreased.

THE Federal Government believes wearing Islamic scarves should be banned at Australian airports, senior government sources have revealed.

Under the radical security proposal, even the most inoffensive Muslim scarf, the hijab, which covers a woman's hair and neck, would be banned, along with several other types.

Security officials are especially concerned by two other very concealing types of scarf, the niqab and the burka.

Former British cabinet minister Jack Straw sparked controversy some time ago when he said it was best that Muslim women did not cover their faces when they met him.

And France banned Islamic headscarves at schools in 2004, a move that also deeply offended Muslims.

The scarf policy is under active consideration in Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews' office, which is consulting with airport security officials over the policy.

It comes after the Government moved to restrict immigration from Sudan.

Educating children remains a national priority in spite of some failing schools and profiteering by text book publishers and others. The country now embraces the notion that health care for children is also a priority in spite of the fact that SCHIP might allow coverage for some small number of unintended individuals.

The nation's health care system is broken. Improvements promised by information technology, medical advances, education and nutrition have resulted NOT in improved health care but in higher profits for insurance corporations, big pharma, and related sectors.

How in the world can the President justify vetoing SCHIP and how can Republican Congressmen support this position?

This post is not just for one race, it's open, please enlighten me your views History is repeating itself. They say beside every great man, there is a good woman. However, it seems as though woman are becoming just as, if not more, successful than black men. Brothers, I don?t know whether you have been watching, but I'm here to tell you that within the next 10 yrs, not only will African American woman have executive positions in the corporate world, but they will also be the head of many households abroad. I know it may be tough to make sense of, but stay with me. African American woman are the backbone of the black race. Ask, Harriett Tubman, Rosa Parks, or Ida Wells Barnett. These are woman that walked the walk. Ask Cloretta Scott King, Myrlie Evans, or Betty Shabazz, all woman that walked in faith with courageous black men. I just roughly spanned close about 400 years of history, so let me slow it down for you all. (full story: visit www.overstand.o-f.com) Thank you.

Define each first and differentiate? Are Atheists likened to an ostrich burying their heads in the sand despite hard evidence on the truth of a deity? And are Free-thinkers really as such and are open minded and ready to accept truths when evidence reveals itself whether spiritually or materially?

Be serious. It's a philosophical and religious question. Be introspective...and civilized here, please.
