If God was both omnipotent(all powerful) and omniscient(all knowing), then there is a slight contradiction.

If God was all knowing then he should be able to know of a power greater the his own, if not then he cannot be all knowing.
You could say that God knows that there is no power greater then his own, but such a statement by God would only be limited by the lack of his own of knowledge of a greater power then his own.

Therefore he cannot have both omnipotence and omniscience because both ideas contradict one another.

2 students got their hands severally severed and my school is pretty truamatized. one is in critical condition and the other is in a 5 hr surgery. just please keep them in their prayers that would be great.

There is a lawsuit won that is 3 million dollars and the money will be divided between the children. If each child gets $400,000 dollars, would each individual have to pay their own taxes or would the tax have to be paid off the top?

I have a very funny/corny teacher in my CLE class. One time he asked this question. "What is liturgy?" My classmates and I thought it was about the church and everything, but because my teacher is funny, he said it was wrong. When he said the answer, we laughed even though it's a bit corny. So what is the answer? I will give 10 points to the first person who answered correctly.

Hint: As what I said, don't think about the church, Jesus, God, Sunday masses. Think about the first thing a kid learns in school and you can answer it. I'm telling you, it's a bit corny but very hard. :P Good luck.

Im interested in Wicca and want to know more about it..... I grew up a christian and always felt it wasn't for me, and Wicca has always been an intrest of mine, even though it is considered taboo in my family. I have tried reading books and looking it up on the internet, but I dont know what sites I can trust on the web, and what books arn't BS. and its all so confusing! .... I've always wandered about what is the reason for people to know the meaning of life. I don't we, human beings, need to know. It's as if people are just so bored and in a piss mood that they want to get the answer to why that is so! If people found out the reason to life and matter, then it wouldn't be so exciting! there wouldn't be anything pushing us forward, because when or if the reason is ever so fond out(which i highly doubt), then people will start waking up in the morning saying to themselves, I'm here because...Blah-Blah-Blah! I think that people should just live life!

I have heard that they are and I want to get to the bottom of this. I drink about 1 energy drink a month (if even that). I was thinking would it be a good idea is Daunte Culpepper went to the Bears and take over as QB, since he has a 1 year deal with the Raiders I think it would be Great if Culpepper wears #8 for the Bears instead of Grossman who is in a way overrated.

For Example:
You are at Wal-Mart or Target, in your cart you have 50 or 60 cans of pet food and a large bag of Gravy Train.

Common sense says: This person has pets, feeds stray animals or is planning to donate this to the local SPCA.

For some reason this never fails: A clerk or person in line says, "Oh, do you have a _________?"( dog, cat, whatever)

Do you Smile, say, "Yes" and leave it at that.
OR?
Are you a "true-Smart-@ss", and come back with witty comments?

Our family has always been the latter
and felt that it was our duty to entertain.
My favorite comeback belongs to my late hubby.
"No, we run a Nursing Home."
He never cracked a smile and looked totally serious.
(It took everything I had to maintain composure.)

i have been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years and it has been wonderful. The first year he kept me private and away from his family. we both decided we were ready for his family to meet me. so i met them and they have been wonderful except for his mother. His dad died when he was 19 and he has taken the responsiblity role of being the father figure to his brothers which i respect alot. The only problem is is that his mother acts like she is married to him. We happen to share the same birthday and whatever he gets me she has to get equal or better or she is unhappy. If he spends time with me like private time she tells him she feels ignored and left out. If he takes me on vacation or to a concert he has to explain to her why she cant come along. It just gets frustrating because i feel like its not our relationship like its me him and his mom and i dont know how to deal with it she is starting to come between us by causing drama about random things. I honestly dont know what to do..

I think the league handed out a great suspension of 25 games. I was worried they'd drop the ball and only give him a couple since Kesler didn't get injured. I'd like to know what everyone else thinks though.
