Two bulbs of resistances R1 and R2 such that R1 > R2. They are connected in series. Which is brighter? What would be the case if they were connected in parallel?

~So far what I put is that in the series, the one with the least resistance would be the most brightest because it has more current flowing through it (I=V/R)

~If in parallel, I am not sure

Can you please explain to me the correct answer without using any equations. I am very confused.

A student determined to test the law of gravity for himself walks off a skyscraper 900ft tall, stopwatch in hand and starts to feefall (velocity initial equals 0 ). Five seconds later superman arrives at the scene and dives off the roof to save him.
A. what must be supermans initial velocity if he is to catch the student just before he hits the ground?
B. What must be the height of the building so that even superman can not save him? (assume supermans acceleration to be that of a free falling body)

Consider a steady flow of air through the diffuser portion of an axisymmetric wind tunnel. The air speed along the center line decreases from a value of 10 m/s at x=0 to 5 m/s at x=2 meters. The wall of the diffuser is a conical surface whose radius at the entrance is 1.0 meter.

What is an expression for the centerline speed as a function of x?

What is the acceleration along the centerline at x=1 meter?

I have run into people who claim that the only way to reach "heaven" would be by going through "Jesus" and doing things by living their life through Christ. What do those people think about individuals and all types of people from nations that or parts of the world that have not had exposure to Christianity. (for example, a remote village in Tibet) Is it fair that they are condemned to hell? I do not understand their rational or their thinking. I am not interested in what your view on how people go to heaven or hell, but rather, what you think those fundamentalists are thinking for these people.
