No, i honestly think its the other way around.... We say greek Gods are myths, so are Ancient Egyptians Gods, however ppl who lived at those times believed they were true, i think this is the same case with religions, religions tell stories, who's to say they're not myths? What confirmation do they really have? History? Well history told us about the pharos and Gods of that time, but do we believe they really did exist? A God of War, a God of Death, etc..? People eliminated the possibility of several Gods bcoz later histories spoke of just one God, so it was sort of an update of info, so who'd u call delusional?

Theists are delusional, ---yeah. Until you define 'god' the same way some people define 'cheeseburger'. It's complex. It's a matter of word meaning. Don't try to get it. You won't. yet atheists believe organic life from an explosion? ---not necessarily. But I do. Granted, a bunch of stuff happened between the explosion and the life. I don't believe you can just throw a grenade and make a bunny rabbit. Again, that's a complex issue involving a willingness to understand instead of just consoling yourself that your daydream is plausible. Don't try to get it. You won't. Intricate life and complexity and interworking systems came from a random, sourceless explosion? ---sourceless? Atheists generally say they don't know what caused the Big Bang. I know, more complexity. It's got to be rough when reality refuses to be simple enough to fit on a bubblegum wrapper. How do people buy this garbage? ---well, if by 'garbage' you mean the Big Bang, abiogenesis and evolution, a lot of how they buy it is that it makes sense and fits really well with available evidence. Something that does NOT fit with evidence is the idea that an omnipotent entity loves us. But again, don't try to get it. You won't. Just go and sit by your Bible and stroke it like a kitten and 'coo' at it. Oh I'm sorry, "expansion". Additional Details Yes the evidence totally proves this bullsh*t LOL ---even if the evidence doesn't, beyond the shadow of a doubt, PROVE Big Bang, abiogenesis, evolution, the evidence still supports it as the best current model. The Abrahamic model of how it all began was the best guess 2000+ years ago (if we want to even credit it with being an honest attempt). It has since been disproven. But if you want to make all your decisions based on 'faith', well, I can't stop you.

I'm a Christian. I don't think that atheists are delusional. They just have a difference of opinion than believers do. I personally believe in God, but many people I know don't. That's their right, and I won't bash them for exercising their opinion.

Let's get real, just for one minute.
What's more delusional:
a.) Relying on scientific evidence to explain the answers to things, and realizing that when we die, it's over, so we should live our lives with as much passion as we can while we're here, or
b.) Believing that some invisible, untouchable spirit in the sky is worth worshipping, and that when we die that worshipping will get us a place in some uncharted land that somehow exists, somewhere, in the midst of space?

Funny, I ask the same question everyday about conservative Christians.
No, I'm not delusional. I just like things to be backed up with hard facts before I believe them. And I don't believe books because the book was written, cause that doesn't make it true. I think that makes me smart.

Atheists do not believe in God. This isn't delusion, it's a choice they have made. Whether they are wrong to think this only time and well, God can answer. They have no belief system or religion. It is not psychotic not to believe in God.
It is simply a choice someone has made in their life. Whether we agree with them or not isn't important, because it's none of our business. Live and let live. Peace.

I'm a Christian and I do not think they are delusional. I just think they are people who do not believe in what they've never seen.
I've never seen a billion dollars, but I believe in it. It's all about faith.

Do Atheists believe in a being that no one has ever seen?
Do we believe that this being poofed the universe into existence?
Do we believe that this being made a man from mud and a woman from the mudman's rib?
You draw your own conclusions....
