what does it mean when people can easily confuse you about who you are, and cause you to think that who you are is ' their ' interpretation of you, like, how they say you are?

and how do you not let people do this to you?

they can cause you to think you don't know who you are...

i know that borderlines have a shaky sense of self...could it be this that maybe other certain people can easily exploit?

Dwarf connifer plants & hanging basket problems?

i have recently bought a few of these plants / shrubs( watever they are called ) from a garden centre they about 10 inches high .. green , kinda cheap llooking border plants...
but i have noticed the tips have turned brown? what does this mean?

also i have a hanging basket , bought from the same centre...which seems to droop every couple of days...it looks like someone has squashed the petals and stalks by hand... how do i solve this problem...they are all watered every couple of days....and the hanging basket is in bloom...just looks a very flat at the moment...any ideas,,????

I stress and worry a lot about tiny things... Any advice please?

I have this play coming up and I get stage fright, and I'm really not a confident person.I'm really stressed out about this play, I don't feel comfortable performing infront of my class, and theres only about 30 people... I find myself very self-conscious and I tend to worry about things that don't matter. I'm afraid to do things, and I get embarrassed easily. I get heaps of homework everyday... and I'm so worried about my grades even though I'm only 14. I remember one time I had this english assignment and I cried because I didn't know what to write and I kind of left it to the last minute - and now when I think about it i find it stupid that I even put so much effort into that assignment when it was worth nothing. I'm too busy living my life in my dreams. Oh and I usually hate going to school cause I don't like being asked to answer a question by my teacher just randomly. Jeez I don't know what to do with my life. I know I'm young, but i stress about nothing! helpp

Arachnologists, are you out there?

I just need to know that you exist and are so not afraid of spiders that you made a whole career out of loving them. One just came running at me across my desk while I was doing schoolwork. It was so terrifyingly gigantic and chunky and oh, sweet Jesus, that was a BUSINESS spider! I was totally paralyzed and possibly having a heart attack whilst shaking and crying uncontrollably. When I started screaming it went running away. Now it's probably in my bed waiting to finish me off and all I do is look around having a heart attack every two seconds because my brain is on some serious fight/flight hormones and thinks everything is a spider. I wish I could just be a little more rational, just a little more like you brave, intelligent, and did I mention RATIONAL entymologists. (sigh) I'm going to be awake for the next week wearing boots inside my apartment and showering at the Y.

If anyone can help, it would be sincerely appreciated.?

This morning I noticed that my cat peed on my bedspread. I do not know if she has done this before except when she was a kitten. However, that was when she had worms so I excused that. Is this a sign of marking territory, lack of respect, behavior problem, or what? How can it be corrected? Her litterbox is clean. Patches is a two year old, female, short hair cat. Thanksgiving....USA, Canada......?

We saw the posting for Thanksgiving and automatically thought it was for America! Just found out that it was actually Thanksgiving in Canada.....our msg of hope, blessings and happiness to our friends in Canada is now a bit belated but the sincerity is there folks. God bless you all. The dates are now in our diary for Thanksgiving/America, Thanksgiving/Canada, Columbus Day/America. Just goes to show how uneducated (some) of us Brits are!!!! We don't have a Thanksgiving day (officially) in the UK.....but we should have!!!

Why doesn't God give us scientific evidence of his existence?

And why does he let you to Hell forever when you die if you pick the wrong religion with no scientific evidence and he knows for a fact that you will burn forever even though you might be a good person, yet he chose to create you anyways so you can burn?

what is the point in defining "art"?

im studying philosophy and i have to read about 20 A4 pages on how to define the word "art". it just seems pretty pointless. art is a huge part of my life (in its various forms), but how are we going to progress by defining what it is?
