If I am reincarnated, I want to live my next life backwards!

You start out dead and get that out of the way right off the bat.

Then, you wake up in a nursing home feeling better every day.

When you are kicked out of the home for being too healthy, you spend several years enjoying your retirement and collecting benefit checks.

When you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day.

You work 40 years or so, getting younger every day until pretty soon you're too young to work.

So then, you go to high school: play sports, date, drink, and party.

As you get even younger, you become a kid again.

You go to elementary school, play, and have no responsibilities.

In a few years, you become a baby and everyone runs themselves ragged keeping you happy.

You spend your last 9 months floating peacefully in luxury, spa-like conditions: central heating, room service on tap.

Until finally...You finish off as an orgasm.

I rest my case

The term 'atheist' is often used as shorthand for someone who subscribes to the theory of evolution as the explanation for variation across (and within) species. On average there is likely a very strong positive correlation between atheism and acceptance of the theory (probably very close to 100%) . However, the two are not synonymous and often rhetoric on this forum perpetuates this false dichotomy.

I'm curious if there are any atheists who do not subscribe to the theory of evolution as the best explanation for the the origin of mankind.

Okay...Sorry if this is a lot to read...I like to build my park from scratch from choosing the stands to doing the park scenery. So I go to scenario editor, do all the scenery and when I'm finished and what not, no one comes to my park but in the past, I used to do that and people would come to my park? I believe I'm forgetting to do something...& Yes I rememer to click on the flag to green so my park is open and everything? Am I doing the walkway to the park wrong or what? People used to arrive to my parks 15-20 seconds after they're open. So can anyone give me any tips on what I should do? Oh I don't make my walkway that long I try to make the entrance to the park as close but not too close maybe 7 blocks from the end of the park. Is the walkway suppose to be one aisle long or rows or what? Any information is helpful.

The other night I had a dream that I was with my family and these huge massive tides came up and we had to run so quickly to get to safety, but we were all fine.

Last night I had a dream that during high tide I couldn't reach my house and I got stuck out all night by myself.

What do these dreams mean?

I realize that it ended the War with Japan and that it probably saved more lives than it cost, but couldn't we acheived the same result bombing military targets rather than cities full of civilians. The consequences, the ends, do not justify the means, if the means involves the immoral use of human beings to acheive those ends. The dropping of A-bombs on the cities of Japan on August 6th and 9th in 1945 were immoral as were the destruction of the Twin Towers in NY on September 11, 2001.

This is an Ethics Q and I'd be glad to hear *reasoned* rebuttals of my ethical judgement or comparison of the aforementioned events.

I think children are really good indicators of human nature because adults are "society trained" so their true nature is masked... My observations of children:

*For kids: most of them are cruel to animals and other children and follow a herd mentality... they tend to pick on the weaker kids UNLESS adults tell them/train them not to.
*Kids are selfish...
*They always whine: NO FAIR! and are jealous of what other kids have.
*At the same time, they don't mind pointing out truths - they are honest.
*There is always the "sweet" kid that seems to be good natured.
*There is almost always the dominant kid that all the other kids follow.
*There is always an outcast or two who get picked on or get rejected.
