An irritable passenger reportedly offended by security questions was arraigned today on charges he told Logan Airport officials he was an al-Qaeda terrorist here to “blow things up.”

Ermyas Asfaw, 27, of Washington, D.C., posted $1,500 cash bail after pleading innocent in East Boston District court to a single charge of false communication of an explosive device.

Massport officials tell the Herald Asfaw had a ticket on his bag from Dubai of the United Arab Emirates and security began asking him questions Saturday night.

Is there a difference in taste between Kosher salt (sea salt) and regular table salt. I know Kosher salt does not have iodine in it which is important in any diet if you don't eat a lot of sea food, which my husband and I don't. Can I use regular table salt in my recipes that call for Kosher salt without sacrificing taste?

We make it sound like being alone is the most horribel thing in the world. "I don't wanna die alone" a lot of people tend to say. Are relationships that much of an issue? I mean look around. Everyones gettin divorced, due to that, everyones just living together to make sure they have an easy escape plan. "Keep one foot out the door just in case." With all of this, surely relationships can't be that big of deal? Is being completely alone and happy really that impossible or unatural? I think about this a lot and don't see what's so wrong or unatural about it. Marriage has lost its appeal to me (hate to say that) and just living with someone I'm gonna be honest. Has no appeal what so ever. Just "shakin-up."

Is being alone really that big of deal. Is there really someone out there for everyone. . .? Honestly?

I live in Miami and I'm turning 30!! I want to go somewhere fun with my friends... it's going to be about 20-25 people. I'm thinking of a cool lounge, bar or even club if it has a terrace area so we can also talk.
We've already been to Martini Bar and Gatsby's to celebrate a few birthdays so I would like to know if anyone has any new ideas.... thanks!

Oh, if anyone has been to Christabelle's Quarter (Coconut Grove) please let me know if you liked it. Also, how much is the cover on Sat. nights?? Thanks!

When I try to start my HP 1012 LaserJet printer, it shows 3 flashing yellow lights on the right side where the control buttons and lights are instead of the usual green light, which means it's ready to print. I've lost my HP instruction booklet. HP did not respond to my email for help. Any helpful advice much appreciated!

Another user told me that he "believes that physical laws, probability, and consciousness could all be called 'God.' We could 'worship' them through scientific research, playing the odds, and thinking clearly."

Why is this type of religious belief so rare?

When I send emails from my Blackberry in the car, it makes the low fuel light and the check engine light come on for a few seconds then they go back out again. This is a major problem for me because i am constantly emailing (I'm in sales) so the lights keep coming on, causing a big distraction while driving. How can i fix this problem?

In designing rotating space stations to provide for artificial-gravity environments, one of the constraints that must be considered is motion sickness. Studies have shown that the negative effects of motion sickness begin to appear when the rotational motion is faster than approximately 2.1 revolutions per minute. On the other hand, the magnitude of the centripetal acceleration at the astronauts' feet should equal the magnitude of the acceleration due to gravity on earth. Thus, to eliminate the difficulties with motion sickness, designers must choose the distance between the astronaut's feet and the axis about which the space station rotates to be greater than a certain minimum value. What is this minimum value?
