I have been feeding my 3 dogs Canidae for a couple of months now. I was feeding them Innova, but they had loose stools on that so I switched. I buy it because it has a good meat content, and no fillers. Very good food.

Canidae All life stages is what I use on my bunch
I have 6 dogs at home now 2 away on vacation & 4 at my farm They range from 8 weeks to 6yrs old

I buy it because I have tried many foods with my first 2 years & years ago most of the foods I tried either made tham pass gas *alot* or made them go to the washroom several times a day. A dog should only go about 2x a day if the food they are on is quality.
I also recommend Eagle Pack Holistic

I change my dogs food around often but always stick with holistic kibbles, raw diets or rehydrated foods. Some of the kibbles I use are Innova Evo, Timberwolf, Flint River Ranch and Pinnacle. Raw pre-mades like Natures Varity Prairie and dehydrated foods like Honest Kitchen. Right now my dogs are on Natures Varity Prairie. I also put Salmon Oil and plain Yogurt in their meals once a day for healthy digestive system and beautiful skin and coats. Meal time is a big production here.

At the present time I'm feeding my dogs Timberwolf Organics Wild and Natural. I'm very picky when choosing a dog food and will only feed one that is grain free (not only because I have a dog that is allergic to grains, but because I think that's what's best for them). I used to feed them Innova EVO but it was too rich for my Shih-tzus and gave them loose stools, but my LabX did great on it. I usually like to rotate between 3 foods, changing them every 4 - 6 mo. at the present time i only have two that I rotate between (Orijen and Timberwolf) and they also get a little of the NRG in the morning.

some other great brands (in no particular order) are:

Wellness Core
California Natural
Solid Gold Barking at the Moon
Nature's Variety Raw Instinct
NRG dehydrated food
Canidae (although I don't feed it to my dogs since it contains rice, but is still a good food)

Here's a great article that tells you what to look for in a commercial pet food. http://www.api4animals.org/articles?p=361&more=1

Nature's Recipe Venison and Rice- sometimes vary within the brand- like Fish and Potato or Duck blend.
I feed my dogs this because I have three and one of them is sensitive to Lamb, the other to Chicken and I won't feed beef.
I have a Vet well-versed in canine nutrition and this food is designed for dogs with allergies and sensitive stomach. Also, it was not on the recent mega recall list and hasn't made our dogs sick.
After researching brands and asking questions that some of the top premium dog food companies refuse to answer, I was impressed that the maker's of NR would answer my questions by e=mail.

I've been feeding all three of my dogs Canidae All Life Stages for about a month now. I switched from Science Diet after reading horrible things about the ingredients.
I use Canidae because the ingredients are high quality and it has no by-products or fillers like most dog foods.
I've also noticed my dogs like the Canidae a lot more than any other dog food I've bought them, they are more active, and their coats are shiny.

We feed our dogs Innova and have been feeding thsi for about 8 years. We tried it on our vets suggestion originally for a senior dog with the beginning stages of kidney failure, as the senior version was supposed to be made easier to process for an aged dog. We then looked into it and other brands and found it to be a good balanced dog food without fillers and then began feeding our younger dogs on it.

I rotate between Canidae and Innova, been doing that for a year now. That's for 2 of my dogs. (The BF refuses to feed his raw)

My other dog gets a raw diet. I don't find it very expensive or time consuming. In fact its cheaper to feed him a month than it is the other two. Even before I got my pup, it was cheaper to feed the one raw, and both dogs weigh close to the same.

I feed my dog Merrick Wilderness Blend:

I have been feeding it to my dog the majority of the time I have had her (I've had her 6 months). I tried a couple other brands, this is the brand she does the best on and she likes it too.

I feed that brand because it was one of the brands recommended to me by the owner of my dog's sire, so I did some research on it and was quite pleased with the ingredients.

I feed my four dogs Canidae for over a year now. My American Bulldog is sensitive to wheat so we had to find a good food with no wheat. all of my dogs do great on Canidae.

And once in awhile I buy them some cans of Merrick as a treat.
