I don't know but could it be called "the church of the HOLY roller"? or has that name been officially taken?

Probably because most people smart enough and educated enough to realize that there is no personal god, are not interested in making a personal philosophy that mimics a religion. What you describe is already taking place. Einstein was an atheist clearly- he did not believe in a personal God, he did not believe in religions, and he did not believe in an afterlife. But he used the word "God" to describe the physical laws of the universe. Lots of people do this. But why do we have to describe it as a new religion? No faith is required. It's just rationality.
I agree with others, it's just humanism.

Why is this type of religious belief so rare? Because it is so ridiculous and most human beings have more sense. Why "worship" a physical law? Who put that physical law in action? Probability.....what is the probability that this changes with circumstances? Consciousness? A blow to the head takes care of that. This is definitely "playing the odds", but "thinking clearly"? Couldn't be further from the mark.

simple.. because most people dont understand what physical laws, probability and conciousness really mean, and are afraid to abandon the beliefs which they already have for fear of being alone without someone to tell them what to think. but it isnt until they can abandon what they have been taught that its possible for them to address belief and even God rationally. If you start from first principles, God can be everything and anything, and He can be expressed in any and every way. Science is not incompatible to religion, its just religious people are incompatable with scientists and vise versa.

It's not as rare as you might think. It's also called Humanism and Secularism and The New Age Movement. I worship the Law-Giver who created the laws of nature, not the laws of nature themselves. And I certainly do not worship science or mankind or conciousness

I ate a burrito for lunch today. We could call that 'God' as well, and worship it through the act of eating it.
Does everything have to be a freaking religion?

this kind of belief is so rare because its not a actual religion and those who practice it can call it a religion for the reason of its what they believe and if they truly believe it is a religion then they can but its not as i aid before an actual religion

You take all what you described and add to it a love and reverence for nature, and you have Pantheism. It's based in reality and encourages knowledge about our universe. Only through learning and critical thinking is truth discovered. What is more valuable than the truth?
Pantheist.

because we are only to worship the one true living God, not laws and probability. Playing the odds? You mean you want to take a chance with your salvation and worship? WOW!!

Sounds like you're too easily influenced by others to be on the net without supervision.
