When I send emails from my Blackberry in the car, it makes the low fuel light and the check engine light come on for a few seconds then they go back out again. This is a major problem for me because i am constantly emailing (I'm in sales) so the lights keep coming on, causing a big distraction while driving. How can i fix this problem?

just put some black electrical tape over the lights, and they shouldn't bother you anymore.

Open up your dashboard and disconnect the power source. The low fuel light and check engine light will stop coming on entirely, so you won't have to worry about them anymore.
Either that, or hold the Blackberry out the window when you hit send.

Are you driving a GM product with an active onstar subscription? Blacberry phones have some of the best blue thooth reception and this may be the reason for your problem due to the open signal interface if so have the omstar service turned off and the problem will go away.

I hope you are not sending Email while driving. To solve your problem turn off the car then send your email. if you doing email while driving then you became a danger to yourself and other.

The lights cause a distraction while driving??? I'd be more inclined to believe that emailing while driving is MUCH more hazardous that light on a dashboard

Why don't you try focusing on the road and not your phone. I had a friend that was seriously injured when some guy in another car blew a red light and T-Boned her all because he was text messaging his buddies. (Yes guys, don't blame it on the women. Men do it too.) It's a shame your job is so important that you have to risk everyone else's life for it. I guess sales is that much of a cut throat kinda business. Try getting a job as a bagger at a grocery store. It's not so demanding and they hire people that are mentally handicapped.

If the two little lights coming on is your biggest distraction, you have worse problems. Quit emailing while you are driving ... at least don't do it while your on the same highway as me. Thanks!
