Please read all of this.

I was discharged from the Army during my 12/15 weeks of infantry training. Due to flat feet. I passed everything decently except for road marches. I did terrible on those. I had a heat incident where I collapsed and the DSergeant noticed my feet and suggested I go to sick call. I have JUST talked to Army recruiters online and they told me I can reenlist with them without a problem.

I just spoke with an Air Force advisor regarding this issue and he told me I cannot join Air Force. Because flat feet is also a disqualifying factor. He was unenthusiastic about being there to answer my questions and a little too straight forward. I told him I just talked to an Army recruiter and he told me, ok, well they will take you, but we won't.

Question is:
Is this just a case of an @sshat advisor? Or does the Air Force seriously read word for word and go by the book?

When you turn left at a roundabout you approach in the left hand lane. When you turn right at a roundabout you approach in the right hand lane. When you wish to go straight on which lane should you be in? Does it matter?

In the highway code it just says "When taking any intermediate exit, unless signs or markings indicate otherwise, select the appropriate lane on approach to the roundabout"

So does this mean either?

God didn't allow anyone hurt Caim, He allowed him go away and start a new life somewhere else. Why? This passage is very discouraging, isn't it?

I believe Caim had the chance to redeem himself in another life and that is waht happens to us, we all have several chances to redeem ourselves by living several lives. I know you are going to say that's not what is in the Bible and that God gave Caim another chance in his life (not after his death), but as everything in the Bible, wouldn't that be a parable?

I was raised in a pentacostal church and attended church up until about 2 years ago. Since then I have had a strained relationship with God and a bitterness towards organized religion. I still believe in God but to many things have been said and done at the church I had been attending that I did not agree with. Also it was a small congrgation and everyone knew everyone elses business and were extremely judgemental and hypocritical. Ok so anyways I should tell you I am a single mom of 2 and I recently carried a baby for a gay couple. What I need to know is what kind of church should I be looking for. Up until about a week ago I had no plans on attending church again but something in me is telling me to go. So any advice would be appreciated. Also I am in the Phoenix area so if any of you know of an accepting church near me that would be great. Thank you.

I heard taking a vow of silence can help you spiritually and mentally because of religiouse beliefs. But if you do take a STRICT vow of silence, is there any actuall benefit? Is there any side effect like forgetting how to speak your language or maybe not being able to speak at all? How long would you have to take a vow of silence to know when your ready to speak again? I'm really curious on this matter. If anyone can anyone answer these questions in deep detail I would appreciate it. And please dont put any small answers with hardly any detail at all, if you do, it'll show that you dont know what your talking about.

I am a first year doctoral student coming from an M.A. program. I am in a new city with lots of cool places and interesting people. Part of me wants to explore the city and the hot men. But I wonder if I really even have time to invest in meeting men and dating.

Should I wait until next semester or next year? I am opened to any suggestions about how I should manage my time in terms of academia and dating?

My car got repo'd yesterday and the dealer told me i have to pay the entire balance before i get the car back. The balance is 1,705.00, but i'm behind 500.00. He told me i have 10 days or he is reselling the car. In my contract there is no clause that states the dealer has the right to request the full balance but only what is past due. The dealer is a buy here pay here place. Any legal advice on getting my car back since i'm only behind 500.00 and they refuse to accept payment from me unless it is 1,700.00?

I'v been lookig for ages to buy cheap autodesk Maya 8.5 and creative suite CS3 but online keep finding extremely expensive prices.Than I'v come accros this online software retail site called (cdrbstore), they claim they are the full versions and come with a serial number but I'm starting to think that its too good to be true. I'm desperate to buy the programes, as I need them for my work but would hate to put money down and its nothing but a scam. Has anybody bought from them or know anything about them???thanks

i read that to lose 1-2 lbs. of fat a week you need to burn and cut a total of 3500 calories a week.well i kept a log of my calorie intake, and it was around 1500-1600 a day. im also walking (pushing a doube stroller) 4 miles a day.
so my question is, how do i know how many calories I"M supposed to cut, is this 3500 a week based on the usda's 2000 calorie diet? does anyone understand what im trying to ask? how do i figure my caloric needs, in order to determine how many i need to cut?

I am 21 and my husband is 25, our son is three. We dont like leaving our son with anyone and plus we dont have any relatives or friends near us since we moved far from them. We live in Long Island, NY. We dont really have any spending money put would love to do something everyday instead of being home all day doing nothing. I am a stay at home mom and he gets home at about 3pm so we have the whole day to spend. Does anybody have any ideas on how we can all do things that doesnt include wasting money put that includes something we can all enjoy. If anyone has any suggestions on great places in Long Island please let me know.
