brakes wouldn't stop. He tried to swurve so he wouldn't hit the guy's car, but he hit the guy's car anyway. My brother said the sun was so bright in his eye's it was blurry to see. My brother's car hit the guy's car. The guy didn't have insurance for his car. My brother was limping from the accident, nothing was wrong with the guy's car but my brother's car was totaled. Then the guy said he had to go to the hospital cause he was hurt, but my brother was the one limping and hurt his head. My brother should've went to the hospital but he got a ride home and is still limping. He said it hurts really bad, but he won't go to the hospital. What should he do about people who lie in the accident? Should he go to the hospital? and what will they say and do? What will his insurance say about the guy not having any type of car insurance? and then going to the hospital? I need help ONLY from lawyers who knows or people who has been through the same thing and got out good.

How do you change it back to where there is no color on the icons?

Our Gangs are merely harmless and Prostitution isn't a problem unless you put yourself in that seat. PLus, THe chances of you getting shot randomly are slim to none. Also, let's mention that I've seen more mainstreams crimes in World Class Cities than anywhere. NYC and Chicago's gangs are something to be reckoned with. Someone from Detroit who lived in Charlotte got held at gunpoint 4 times while not once in Detroit. I guess people only care about their possessions rather than their lives.

My friend just got arrested at Best Buy last night for trying to steal two games, totalling under $150. We picked him up and gave the police $100 because they said that's how much it would cost to get him out. Now, after reading some papers they gave him, it says something like Bail $1000/10% $100. Is he going to have to pay $1000 at court or something? We don't understand this whole process. Thanks.

My dad recently had an ischemic stroke (2 months ago)He is a Type II diabetic also. Ever since his stroke, we've been monitoring his blood sugar level for him. In the last 3 days, he's been looking more tired. He's lost his energy when he tries to walk. We took him to the ER and the doctors said its probably low blood sugar thats occuring over night. So, check his blood sugar at 6 oclock and it shows 145. No insulin shot is given. We give him his dinner. We check his blood sugar again at 10pm. Its 110. He sleeps through the night and its back to 145 again. Whats going on? Its been shooting up overnight. Is his body digesting the food really slow? i mean..if it is, wouldn't be high 3 hours after his meal when we check his blood sugar level again at 10pm?

Grammar books tell that :"got" is used (for past participle of get) in english. and even "gotten" (in appendix : grammatical differences between US and UK) is used too. is there any difference in the meaning or rule? which one is preferred in US english? which one shall i use?
for example :
1. I got up and got dressed quickly. (from cambridge grammar book)
I got up and gotten dressed quickly. (is this true also?)

2. I got wet or I gotten wet in the pouring rain?

I live in Texas and I am seeing more and more that Americans are becoming the minority in America. Now I'm not just talking about white people, this is not a race issue, there are plenty of hispanic Americans but the illegal immigrants, mostly from Mexico seem to be taking over the country! Now some will say that they do our "undesirable" jobs....ya they may mow the lawns or build the highways but I know some people that would love to have a JOB...undesireable even and they can't find them. There needs to be a better plan to dissuade illegal immigration, they are BREAKING THE LAW. They are eating up our resources, using up our tax money, taking jobs and affordable housing from hard working Americans (black, white, brown, yellow or otherwise) who are living in this country the legal way. Maybe we should all follow suit with the town in Texas that makes it a punishable crime to rent to and employ illegal immigrants. Its time to take our country back!

When John Stuart Mill [19th century utilitarian] advocated this policy, Britain was not facing attacks from Wahhabis. Permitting 100% freedom of speech would mean alllowing Wahhabi terrorists like 'Abu Hamza' [Doctor Hook] to stay in the country, preach their Wahabbi ism with impunity and even receive free healthcare and benefits. This is obviously not something anyone wants to see. So is it time we dropped the idea of unconditional freedom of speech as being totally unrealistic, i.e. a pipe dream? Why should we allow the wahhabis to do as they please?
