I live in Texas and I am seeing more and more that Americans are becoming the minority in America. Now I'm not just talking about white people, this is not a race issue, there are plenty of hispanic Americans but the illegal immigrants, mostly from Mexico seem to be taking over the country! Now some will say that they do our "undesirable" jobs....ya they may mow the lawns or build the highways but I know some people that would love to have a JOB...undesireable even and they can't find them. There needs to be a better plan to dissuade illegal immigration, they are BREAKING THE LAW. They are eating up our resources, using up our tax money, taking jobs and affordable housing from hard working Americans (black, white, brown, yellow or otherwise) who are living in this country the legal way. Maybe we should all follow suit with the town in Texas that makes it a punishable crime to rent to and employ illegal immigrants. Its time to take our country back!

It is not a pointless question. It is trying to get opinions. I am not being racist or prejudiced I just think that those who break the law should be punished, not rewarded. They broke the law the second they hopped over that fence. If I broke into your house, started eating your food and using your things I would get the cops called on me and be arrested. I fail to see the difference. So you say they are trying to get out of a bad situation...I might be too, I may have a shack of a house and no food...doesn't make breaking and entering into your house any less of a crime. I am seeing more and more that we are fighting and fighting to accomodate them when our own people have their own problems that we should use our tax money for. I have plenty of hispanic friends and many of them feel the same way if not more enraged because they did things the hard way and came here LEGALLY. Breaking the law is not okay, period.

And as far as it being illegal to employ illegals it is...but it is a dead end law....if it was being enforced then we wouldn't have all of the illegals building our highways, picking our crops, and mowing our lawns. There is a girl at my work whose husband is here illegally and has been working for the same construction company for YEARS making 16 dollars an hour and not paying taxes...she brags about it which I think is crap! If this law was being enforced that company would have been out of business long ago. And he isn't the only one, she said that she KNOWS of 10 other illegals that work for that company. Also the city of Plano Texas even set them up a station to stand at to be hired as day workers, they say to keep them away from street corners where they can be a danger or get hurt...the government knows about it yet does nothing....what good is a law if it isn't enforced.

11. During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from Terrorist Countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroine and marijuana, crossed into the U. S. from the Southern border. Homeland Security Report:

12. The National Policy Institute, "estimated that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period."

The invasion has been going on for many years now. It did not just start in the past few years. The only difference today is that our government is sanctioning it. We have immigrations laws in place all we have to do is enforce them. I do not have a problem with any immigrants coming to America the problem I have is when they do it illegally. I still believe America is truly the land of the free and that freedom should be shared with all who follow our nation of laws. Good question, I hope you gets some answers you are looking for.

Yes, illegal immigration isn't really even immigration. It isn't immigration when millions of people all from the same part of the world go to the same country in a short time span. Mexico is expanding it's territory into the Southwestern United States by pushing it's poor people across the Rio Grande.
