If all-wheel drive not deploy.....?

Is it okay not to fix transfer case fluid leak. My car is a 1996 Jeep and the mechanic said it is not worth to fix it.

Is it ok to use 2-wheel drive only with a empty transfer case?

NO THE BEARINGS WILL LOCK UP!!!!! THEM YOUR IN FOR A TOW BILL AND A NEW T-CASE. GOT TO A SALVAGE YARDS AND BUY A USED ON THERE LIKE 200-400 DEPENDING ON MODEL, MILES AND CONDITION THERE EASY TO PU IN ITS ABOUT A HOUR TA 2 HOUR JOD DEPENDING ON MECH. ABILITY
