brothers and sisters, i am about to give up on ppl. i WANT to give up on ppl. i only want Allah. this is driving me crazy. how can i detach from this world? all i want is Allah, yet sometimes i act like i care abt my so-called "frnds" more than Him. wat do i do? every night i cry b/c i want to be closer to Allah, but it seems like he doesnt like want me. how can i forget my "frnds" and focus on Allah? plz tell me a solution. how do u get closer w/ Allah? i mean, i pray and stuff but i dont pray 5 times every single day. i dont reli read the Quran, just sometimes. and when i read it, i read it in english. arabic seems too hard for me. but guys i need ur help. how do i get closer? how do i get tht full satisfaction tht u guys have? plz help.

We have just bought a small (480 sq ft) small house with no basement to renovate and resell. It has one bedroom, small living room and very small kitchen and even smaller bathroom. The lot is big so we have already dug a hole, poured foundation and are planning on moving the house on top of the new foundation. So, the basement will have 2 bedrooms, full bathroom, laundry room and the mainfloor bedroom will be opened up to make a bigger living room. Ok...here comes the question...would you take the bathroom out on the mainfloor and open the kitchen or would you take the tub out (it's only a 4 ft long old tub) and keep a bathroom upstairs and keep the small kitchen? I think bigger kitchen no bathroom and my husband thinks the opposite. Please let me know your opinion.

I was amazed at all the Google video that claims that 9/11 was an inside job. A lot of it is pretty convincing. Have you seen any of it, and if so, what do you think?

Long story short, my soon to be ex husband ruined our credit. I had no knowledge of his actions as I had no access to any bills, accounts or funds. Now we're divorcing and because my (his) credit is awful I am having a hard time finding a good job.

What are my options?

Is this a joke? I just built about the same computer (w/o the Athlon 6400--but with a 6000 overclocked to a 6600, with a slightly cheaper video card and a slightly cheaper psu) for $1100...4,000?

My husband is trying to fix his brakes and apparently the rotors are rusted to something preventing him from replaceing the pads...I have heard allot of hammering and I know they are using somekind of spray lube...and scraping rust...any of you Yahoos have a suggestion maybe something that worked for you? It's a Ford expedition if that helps

Does anybody have any quick, easy recipes that I can use to make dinners for my partner who hates my cooking?
We have been together for 6 months, and I have cooked for him three times in that time period. Every time, he criticizes everything about my food, one time, he said, "This doesn't belong on the plate, it belongs in the garbage."
Granted, I am not the best cook, but I think I do alright. My meats usually wind up tough on the outside but moist on the inside, sometimes slightly dry. I usually don't follow recipes for meats or pastas, I make up things as I go. I like to use alot of garlic, oils, and italian seasonings.
The last dinner I made was chicken breasts cooked in lemon juice and vegetable oil, topped with raspberry sauce and layed over plain pasta, boxed mashed potatoes, and brussel sprouts on the side.
Any suggestions for foods to make? Remember, nothing too complicated.
PS - My partner is an excellent cook and has catered many events, including weddings.

I am furius that Dick and Daniele made it to the final two! I hate them! I hate them! I hate them! I hate them! The problem seems to grow and grow. When parents begin lobbying that religious beliefs be taught in science classrooms you have to admit the system is failing (has failed) somewhere. It also seems that these people have convinced themselves that creation is true and evolution is false. Not only this they display a fundamental misunderstanding of what evolution really is, lumping things like the big bang into the theory along with statements like "man came from monkeys." It also seems that they are mostly unwilling to accept an actual education on the subject.

How can we educate those who need it so badly?
