I see a lot of names and all are great players but your question is, "The Best Yankee player of all time." I take that to mean, "as a Yankee who was the best"?
There is no question as to who were the best Yankees of all time. Here are the best Yankees of all time in order:
1. Babe Ruth
2. Lou Gehrig
3. Mickey Mantle
4. Joe DiMaggio
5. Whitey Ford
6. Derek Jeter
7. Yogi Berra
8. Bernie Williams

The other players, as far as their contributions to the Yankees is limited as they played most of their careers with other teams.
