They are focusing too much on the number not on Dale Jr himself...doesnt matter what the number will be... as long as youre a Dale Jr fan you shouldnt care what car number he drives.

It's not that big of a deal. It sure sounds as if it will be the 88.
That is a fitting number. I'll bet the paint scheme will be cool

A couple of weeks ago, everyone was sure that the number would be 81.
Does anyone know what happened to that?
I honestly mean no offense to anyone, but what difference does the car number make?

YES, and for the simple reason so we can see the biggest bust in Nascar. He will flop with Hendrick, come on who will get the good cars you can't build 3 awesome ones and be competitive. I just can't wait to see Dale Jr or Jeff Gordon spin each other out and cause a wreck and see you blames who.

But if you don't wanna believe me and have to wait for the "official" announcement, you can look stupid like everyone else.
