During my labor, I was given pitocin to induce labor. After six hours my labor still wasn't progressing and I asked the nurse to stop the pitocin until I could talk to my doctor and get an epidural She refused like an obstinate child. My baby's vitals were perfect, and he was in no immediate danger. I feel like she violated my patient's rights because I have the right to refuse medical treatment and medications, according to all information on patient's rights I've read.

i have stopped drinking sodas and started drinking juice. Sometime i will drink a diet drink. Ive noticed juice has calories and diet sodas dont, i also drink crystal light. Should i continue to drink juice or diet sodas?

'm running out of space for stuff so want to put my stock of candles in a cupboard in the garage... but if the cold of the garage makes candles go bad... then I wont.

I've heard that in a pinch you could bring down a fever by drawing some blood. Is it because there's a lot of WBC's in the blood of a febrile person, and taking some blood out removes some of the WBCs?

1st day of Penguins training camp... I couldn't go. I've been working mad hours and I finally was off today, so I slept in.

i will not say my name for safety purposes, but i am 15 years old my brother is 20 , evey day when ever i see him i get scared becouse he often beats me up for no reason. everyday i see him i remember the words he tolled me when i was about 5 they hurt so much i stilll remember them like today "why where u ever born i hate u". i cant go to my mom becouse since my father died my mom works the whole day i dont want to put more stress on her, shes gonna lose her eyesight soon if she has alot of stress.. i dont know what to do , i dont want to do somehting bad beoucse imm a good person and i dont want to hurt my brother "even tho i probobaly couldnt since hes all buff and stuff" plz help me.

My boyfriend suffers from depression and he's a recovering drug addict. He has a poor job history where he 2/3 of the time he quits and just gets sick of it. And once he got fired because he got sick on the job and he was temp. Anyways, he helps out with our son in the morning a little (he feeds him and lets me sleep for an extra hour), but then the rest of the day I am taking care of our son by myself. He doesn't help clean the room unless I nag on him. mostly it's me. i take out the garbage, do the laundry, and I do the cleaning on top of taking care of our son. Anyways, I'm sick of doing everything by myself whle he complains tha he needs to fix the comp. or w/e. Which him fixing the comp. is basically a bunch of downloading and things you do with the internet. Not really technical stuff. Well, I want him to work, but I don't know how to get him motivated. I'd go work instead, but then he'll complain cuz he has to take care of our son all day and he says he can make more money.....

I then withdrew all of the rest of our money from that account to put in our new checking account. Two days later the bank statement said my checked was returned. What do I do now? Im not sure if he cashed it or deposited it but the money is in there now, will his bank try to cash it a second time to get the money or automatically contact him? I live in NC. Thanks
