Juice is good for you because it is from fruit or vegies. SO in the long run it isbetter than diet soda. although diet soda is less calories, you are setting yourself up for a letdown, when you fill up on something that has no nutritional value at all. SO drinking juices are better for you. But better still is to EAT the WHOLE FRUIT. or WHOLE VEGIES. Good Luck and God Bless.

Depends on the event, if my daughter is just having a play date, we will offer juice boxes, capri-suns, flavored water, milkshakes, lemonade, kool-aid, milk, or just plain water. Whatever we have in stock, really. We generally ask the other childs' parent what their kid can drink. So we don't run into any allergy problems, or if their kid is particularly messy with a certain drink. We don't keep soda in the house, and neither my wife or I drink it. For parties, we might have soda in stock for the guests, and if a parents lets their kid have one, go for it. We try not them more than a can, and for the younger children, we usually like to split the can between them, all depending on how the parent of the child feels about it.

Diet sodas have no sugar whereas juices do. If you are trying to loose weight diet sodas are best but the juices are healthier as they also contain vitamins. Also the diet sodas are actually bad for your liver. They have artificial sweetners (which is why they are still sweet without containing sugar). These artificaial sweetners attack the liver over time. This also is the same for extra chewing gum. The best thing is water....

Fruit juice is high in calories, filling and not nearly as good for you as fresh fruit. Also the natural sugar in fruit juice is hard on your teeth.
Diet soda is high in chemicals and sodium and is also bad for your teeth.
Drink water baby!

Juices have beneficial antioxidants and other nutrients, especially berry and pomegranate juices. Some reports that white grape juice slightly aggravates plaque formation, so easy on that one.
Sodas have no reported benefits.

I would stick with Diet soda no calories. Juice has a ton of calories/sugar...not too healthy. Cystal light is great.
