Okay, so i'm taking Ortho-tricyclin and I was wondering if once I take the green pills (at the end of the cycle) if that is for sure when i will get my peroid. By the way, I havent taken them for a very long time, so my periods are still a bit irregular.

The little green pills don't have anything in them, they are just pills to keep you on schedule and make sure you leave enough time for your period to take place.

By taking the green pill, it's temporarily stopping the hormones, which tells your body "ok, have your period now, the hormones are gone." When you start taking the blue/white ones again, the hormones are back, and the whole 28-day schedule starts again.

If you're not taking the green pills at all, are you just going from pack to pack just taking the white and blue ones? If you're taking blue/white ones every day without a break, you shouldn't be getting a period at all...let alone an irregular one. Spotting is ok, but getting a full period doesn't make sense. If that is the case, go see your doctor. You may need to try a different kind of pill.

The answer to your question is yes. You should have your period during your inactive week, with the green pills. How ever it may take a couple of months to become regular.
