I know that I'm a little late to ask this question but what do you of the vma of this year because for me was one of the worst in all time seeing the pathetic performance of Britney, seeing the stupid rapers, and the rock bands were awful.

My daughter is in the second grade and please don't flame me for saying this,but I am SICK AND TIRED of her school ALWAYS sending home notes that they want parents to give money for this,that,or the other. The other day she brought home a paper that the school wants new mats for their gym walls,and the school was asking parents for donations of $25.00 or more.

Now,I don't know about anyone else,but we live on a very tight budget and we can't give money constantly to every little thing because we do have bills to pay like everybody else. It wasn't enough that we had the school supply list from you-know-where,and now they are asking EVERY WEEK for money for something else?

I don't mind sending money for field trips or something like that,but when did all of us parents become a bank? We don't have any family to help us out with anything,so we live on a very tight budget like alot of other families do. How do you feel about this,please share your thoughts and feelings about this!

Saying I am African American identifying only one race rather then say I am proud also to be not only African American but African/Irish American or whatever the other nationality is with the African culture/nationality? I have nothing against mixed races or people of other cultures but I cant understand not being proud or both or denying both and trying to pass for hispanic or American Indian for denial of being bi-racial? With Today being 2007 and so many people intermarrying and religions mixing what is the differance if people know your mixed and being proud of it and showing support for your biological family by acknowledging both God if you believe in God knew what he was doing when you were created and loves you just the same if your all white all black or mixed so why be ashamed?

So I wonder for the atheists, y don't they kill each other? there's no1 (according to u) going to account you for any of ur sins.

For ppl like me who believe in One God, and in the day of judgement,i can't kill sum1. But what is keeping atheists from killing masses?Secondly there shouldn't be any chanrges for killing atheists coz If no Super Being is gonna account us (according to atheist belief) then who are we to account sum1?

OBSERVATIONS:

1) Youth are more disrespectful to parents and family. I.e.: Children being violent, talking back, using foul language towards family and friends.
Question: Why is this behavior rampant is society?

2) Television shows depict sex and sex with multiple partners quite regularly. I.e.: Nip/Tuck, Friends, Sex and the City
Question: Why is this occurence now readily accepted?

3) Actors, musicians, and athletes are paid more than teachers, caretakers, firemen, and police officers. I.e. : Athletes - $6million/year. Teachers - $45,000/year.
Question: One entertains. One directly affects society. Why allow such a disparity in $$?

4) Actors, musicians, and athletes have a greater impact on children than their parents.

5) Society fails to ask the "why" in doing or saying something. For clarification: just because the Constitution and Bill of Rights declares that we have the "right" to say and do certain things, does it mean we SHOULD?

I am looking for an article that discusses whether or not John Lennon had an impact on American politics, or an article that discusses whether or not Yoko Ono exploited John Lennon's fame for her career. In Speech class our teacher gave us the assignment of finding an article that correlated in some way with the film "John Lennon vs. the Us." You all dont believe because you are too selfish to let go of your transgressions. you like doing something that is wrong so you cast god out of your life. Yes i believe because i have nothing i am judged all the time by people for being me! (persecuted). I am called soft because i chose not to fight over petty things. Even though in the past i have been known for kicking serious butt. Would you like me better if i kicked you in the face NO you would call the cops or say i was wrong! so either way i loose! So YES i belive that by me putting up with the crap people dish out there will be a reward THROUGH FAITH. TRIBULATION WILL HUMBLE! You probably dont believe because you've never had to call on him but the second tribulation strikes and the world turns against you. You will either curse him, seek him out or ask for help from his adversary. THAT WILL PROVE THAT HE EXISTS BECAUSE YOU MIGHT BLAME HIM! I live with the comfort of the word and i am his martyr. IT IS A TEST!

Man i am good! I have a son in 1st grade. He came home with a spelling test with a 40 F. I started looking at it and I was confused because the works looked spelled right to me. Maybe a letter or two backwards or something but they were right. I wrote a note to the teacher explaining how i felt and he changed the grade to 90 A and wrote a note saying he was sorry, he just couldnt read it untill i said that and then he looked harder.

I was so happy i stuck it in his school memories book to look at when he get's older.
