Cloudcity, every player and team combination you mentioned has been retired, the Canes retired Francis' number last year.
I would love to see Phoenix/Winnipeg retire Dale Hawerchuk's #10. I know that Wayne and Dale have discussed it but it needs to be done.

Well I can think of 2 players. Patrick Roy should have his number retired in Montreal, Also I don't know if they retired Steve Yzermans number in Detroit yet.

Is Mark Messier's 11 already retired in New York? If not, then that should happen.
I also see Brodeur's number being retired by New Jersey after he retires and joins the HoF.

Vladimir Konstantinov. One of the best defensemen ever to play the game and one of the only Russians that wasn't afraid to mix it up with anyone! So sad what happened to him. And that idiot that was driving the limo should be forced to climb the rafters at The Joe and hang Vlad's Jersey. After that, the fans should get 15 min to flog the guy senseless with a bunch of wet, slimy Octopai!!!

Steve Yzermans Jersey was retired in Jan I do believe- I cant remember the exact date- but I was there at that game to watch. I cried.
