I feel that is true. Not everyone should have a computer. They have no idea how to protect it and therefore cause viruses to spread. Although everyones life is affected by computers not everyone should own one.

True: Baby Boomers may have special resistances because,

1) They place a higher value on privacy and individuality.
2) They resist following commands initiated by machines.
3) They prefer face to face interactions which give them
more information about the people they deal with.
4) Plastic discs played on a record player, 8 cyld. Buicks,
and VHS tapes may have problems, but they are used
to the problems and don't want all the new ones that
computer ownership will bring them.
5) They see people who sit in front of a puter 16 hrs. a day
and wonder why they don't get a life.

Computers are for everyone! I don't know what I would do with out mine. There may be a lot of junk but there is so much knowledge available to you at the click of a mouse. I would like to see every household in the world with a computer and Internet service.
The fact that I can virtually visit museums, talk to people all over the world and look up any fact in minutes amazes me.
