my bf bought a leg of lamb (shank half, it says on the ticket), and it weighs 1.248 kilograms (so around 2.7 pounds). I've never cooked a roast before! what is the best way to do it? what temperature do i put it on and for how long? does the lamb really need to be in foil?

Shortly after 9/11, we got lots of video tapes from Bin Laden that was very clear, shot from multiple angles, used close-ups, and filmed in multiple environments. In short, it looked like typical amateur video which is what you would expect it to be. After rumors of his death in December of 2001 of natural causes, there were no more original, new videos. All we got only old, recycled footage, and sometimes we got only audio.

Then in 2004, days before the presidential election, we get a video of a barely-moving Bin Laden, shot from from a single angle, and with no close-ups. Is it really Bin Laden, or is it a look-alike meticulously produced by someone with an agenda? Did whoever made the video not want us to get too good a look at the person purported to be Osama? Why wasn't it shot in the same manner as his original videos? What we see is not from someone wanting to prove to the world that he was still alive!

Brian Cashman is trying to play hardball, saying he'll let A-Rod walk if he opts out of his contract after this season. But really... come on. This guy is arguably the greatest player the game has seen in the last 20 years, and I believe he will eventually break Bonds' HR record. I am using an external flash 580 EX II with Canon Rebel XT. Someone told that instead of using auto mode it is best to have the camera on Manual with flash. Like I choose the speed and aperture setting and the flash will take care of the rest. But when i put the camera on Manual mode, it acts as if there is no flash on it. It shows me that the picture will either be underexposed or over exposed based on the lighting in a room or outside. But when i click the shutter anyways, the flash shoots and the picture turns alright.

But how do I know if a photo will be under exposed or overexposed with manual mode and flash.

Seems how I don't have a clue of how many of you have forgotten September 11th or just don't care I'm asking. What would you have done after 9/11? Would you have found out who was behind the attacks and went after them? Would you have called it a "tragic event" and erected a Memorial, but not avenged? Would you have done what we did? Would you have destroyed (nuked) a whole country, just because of the dictator who oppressed the people? Come on, I'm curious how many stupid answers I'll get.
