Yes, we should! It was a feature that we had quite a while ago. I didn't know what the stars were for, but they're not the same as thumbs up or down.
Next to point gaming, thumbs are just a popularity contest and equally as annoying.

Yes,,, Sometimes people say mean stuff to others so I do thumbs down on them, but I give everyone else thumbs up if they answer the question no matter how silly they are as long as they are not mean I am a thumbs up giver...

Some people like to discredit other peoples answers because it makes them think they are more likely to get a best answer. I don't agree with the whole thumbs up or down notion. I say " Let the asker choose what he thinks is right "
I don't need a thumbs down from joe shmoe to tell me that billy bob is a total jack*ss. Know what I mean?

no, i wish they would get rid of thumbs up and down. or at least get rid of thumbs down. way too many people abuse it. i mean, come on. why do a deserve a thumbs down for my favorite color? it's just ridiculous. the same thing would happen to questions. definitely not a good idea. it would give the trolls/stalkers another thing to push our buttons. btw, just look how two people gave me a thumbs down. i gave my opinion and someone didn't like it. a prime example of people abusing the system.
