I am 5.3 so far and i am a girl. I am way too short, i wish i was at least 5.6, but i know every one is different , lol in good ways and bad.

I am investing for the long term (i.e. 30+ years) and want to know what people think is the best allocation of TSP funds for now and/or for the long haul.

Right now I put %50 in the C fund, %25 in S, and %25 in I. Obviously I'm willing to be aggressive but I'm also not averse to switching things around every now and then if it's going to help me.

For those not familiar with the TSP:

C Fund = Large US companies (S&P 500)
S Fund = Medium and small US companies (Wilshire 1500)
I Fund = International Companies (Europe and Japan mostly)

I use a Pentax Zoom 105 Super, that my dad had when he came to Canada. And right now I have a bunch of expired rolls that date back about a year ago.. March, 2006... It's some film that I never heard of before... Konica VX 100 Super. And I'm wondering if this will damage my camera..or disrupt the way how the pictures will turn out... Also, another question for those who used or owns a 105 super, what does the E mean? It's flashing all the time... I'm guessing it's the batteries dying out, but correct me if I'm wrong.

1) Find the constant c that makes g continuous on (-infinity, infinity)
g(x) = {x^2-c^2 if x<4
{cx+20 if x>(less than or equal to)4
I got: by plugging in 4 into both equations
x^2-c^2=4^2-c^2=16-c^2 & cx+20=c(4)+20=4c+20
then combining them together: 4c+20=16-c^2
4c+4=-c^2
c^2+4c+4=0
(c+2)(c+2)=0
c+2=0
c+2=0
c=-2 & c=-2

2) Use the intermediate value theorem to prove that there is a positive number c such that c^2=2. (This proves the existence of the number sqrt[2])
c^2 is a polynomial & continuous function on its domain & its domain is from (-infinity, infinity)
It's an open interval so I took a closed interval of [1,2] from that open interval.
f(1)=1 & f(2)=4 so N=2 so there exists a number c in (1,2) such that f(c)=2

What is the definition of a "disease"?

Mental illness is a disorder, but can it necessarily be classified as a disease?

My health teacher got mad at me because he thought I was protesting his logic that "mental illnesses are disorders, not diseases".

If anyone can come up with a source and some evidence that proves him wrong I'd love it! I read it somewhere but can't find it. Help!

My guy is telling me not to dress up so much because he likes me the way I am and doesn't like it when people stare. I on the other hand like to dress up and I think he should be happy about it that people take time to look and think what a "lucky" guy he is but he doesn't appreciate it. I don't wear anything revealing so I don't know why he cares so much. Besides, I don't dress up so people can look at me, I dress up because I like to feel good about myself. So guys, how do you feel about your girl? Don't you want them to dress up and look nice or are you one of those who feels the same way. Just wondering...

I bought a 44 inch plasma EDTV before HD became all the rage. now they have HD DVD players. I have a very extensive DVD library and i was wondering if i can play regular DVDs on an HD DVD player and also can i even use an HD DVD player with an EDTV? Honestly i am getting a bit agitated with all this because i spent quite alot of money on the setup i have now but with the options getting so diverse and with some DVDs only coming out in HD or Blueray format i want to up grade my player. Is this possible with an EDTV i dont want to have to shell out another 3 grand for another tv when the one i have isnt even 3 years old yet

I have been to both. They are the #1 and #2 stadiums in size in the country (Only separated by a meaningless 700 seats or so). But I have to say that I think Beaver Stadium is a louder, crazier and more fun environment! than the Big House.

Writing about 6 yr old son whose father I never told about the pregancy and birth because of his alcohol abuse and I am experiencing from my son a lot of interest and sadness because of the absence of that relationship. I cannot change my decision but I do not know how it is something I can make him understand and not suffer from. I am a successful partner in a law firm and I am able to provide for him without any assistance and he leads a full life.
