I have been to both. They are the #1 and #2 stadiums in size in the country (Only separated by a meaningless 700 seats or so). But I have to say that I think Beaver Stadium is a louder, crazier and more fun environment! than the Big House.

Being an Ohio State fan I will say the Big House, I have been there and it is a scary thought almost like the Dog Pound in old Cleveland Stadium at its most ferocious.

Beaver Stadium is louder and better, but both pale in comparison to The Swamp or Neyland Stadium.

Michigan isn't a loud stadium because there is only one level so the noise goes up instead of down to the field. btw I think you mean oregon state not penn state

Up until last week, if you asked my I would have told you Michigan in an instant, especially based on their stronger history, but after they lost to Appalachian State at home, I have my doubts. Also, size doesn't matter that much for college football, there are a lot of other teams (especially in the SEC) that have better home stadiums.

The Big House definitely. At the App. State game on Saturday they packed in more than 109,000. It gets pretty loud there too.

Though I've never been to either, "Happy Valley" just seems like a crazier place. Michigan fans seem a bit more reserved.
