I am not American but I live in America. I am not into politics yet I know it shapes the way America is run and that is why America sucks because Bush is president, anyway Bush is a republican and republicans always talk about doing good yet most of them are closet racist, closet gays and closet perverts. Why are they like this and why doesn't the American people realize this.

Hey everyone, I am nearly 19 weeks pregnant and have a scan this Monday - I am torn as to finding out the sex of the baby - my hubbie wants to but I am not so sure, I really want a boy and am worried how I may react if it is a girl (as long as it is healthy I wont really mind but you know you often have a preference).

i was wondering why their have not been any terrorist attack on russian lands,they seem to kill muslims living in their old republics,like chechin and the other one that starts with an i,yet america is blamed as muslim haters,yet we may have started ww3 on a small scale,but we did it for oil,but russians kill for control.....am i missing something?

over the past few months my cat has developed the habit of chewing on plastic bags. she started doing it in secret (when we are out) about three to four months ago and then stopped for ages. yesterday she came up infront of me and started chewing on the bag i'd just brought in with me full of shopping.

she's an indoor cat, but has plenty of toys and attention, fresh water and food. i haven't tried cat grass yet and i thought this may be the prob. but then i heard my friends two outdoor cats (ten miles away) were doing the same thing!!!!

any ideas?

I have a friend that is a good Christian but that also practices some forms of Wicca. She likes being in nature and doing many Wiccan rituals in nature. She says that it makes her feel closer to God. Do you think that a person can do this? I've done some research and have found that many early Christians where considered mystics. Would that be the same thing? What's your opinion?

I got this flower as a gift and have no idea what it is but people seem to love it but I can't tell them anything about it.

All I know is that it started with only three stalks at the beginning of this summer and more and more stalks with huge leaves have been popping up.

THE Flag is a symbol. A flag is a piece of cloth. You can burn a piece of cloth. You cannot burn THE Flag. We can only destroy it's meaning by betraying the foundations on which our country was established. I'd really prefer that kids pledge allegiance to the Constitution the way elected officials do, "to preserve, protect and defend"

My old timer mechanic is telling me to run 10w 40 in my 89 Chevy that has 87,000 miles. It calls for 5w 30 in the manual.
I don't presume to know more than my mechanic...but seems to me it would call for 10w 40 if 10w 40 was okay. It had a small leak that I had him repair (O ring from distributer plug).
He had serviced this car for a few years running 10w 40...I went back to 5w 30. Will 10w 40 hurt the engine? I love my mechanic, but am worried about this advice. Please help.

Jim Jnr., goes to a restaurant & orders a chicken dish. By the time the food is ready & he is about to eat, the waiter comes back & says, "Sir, I'm afraid there has been a mistake. You see, that police officer who is sitting at the next table is a regular customer of ours & he usually orders the chicken dish. The problem is, that this is the last chicken in the house. I'm afraid I'll have to take this dish to him & arrange for another dish for you!"

Jim gets really upset & refuses to give up his food. The waiter walks over to the other table & explains the situation to the officer. A few minutes later the officer walks over to Jim's table & says.....

"Listen & listen good. That is MY chicken you are about to eat & I'll warn you, whatever you do to that chicken I'll do the same to you. You pull out one of its legs, I'll pull out one of yours. You break one of it's wings, I'll break one of your arms!".....

How can someone claim to be athiest if they have no beliefs?

Will they ever realize they are not the only people in the world do go through a disaster? Will they ever stop expecting the "government and President Bush" to make their lives the same as they were before Katrina. If my life had been turned upside like theirs was two years ago, I would have moved on and started to rebuild by now. It's been two years! Stop crying and stop taking care of yourself and your family. While the WWII generation is known as the greatest generation, I think the Katrina New Orleans generation will be known as the most embarrassing of the American generations. How about showing some backbone and doing something for yourselves?
