I am american, but I am obsessed with everthing from the UK.
I adore the culture, the history everything!
My grandad was born and raised in the uk, and even after he passed, I still love it and it still reminds me of him.

I am trying to get a job transfer to the Uk but untill then, what can I do to .. get more into the culture?

If a guy likes a girl so much that he accepts everything she says and try to do everything that she will be happy with. He can even be on his knees and beg her to be with him. Thinks very less of himself in front of other people since he thinks that he is not that much socializing so any kind of friend is all he wants.

Will you think this guy is nice, caring(feels) and lovable or pathetic loser.

I also find it really confusing from these two sites:

One says that January the 1st fell on a Saturday and the other on a Friday! What is going on?

I also calculated myself that it should fall on a Friday, but would Wikipedia be wrong? That is what I am unsure of.

Relating to my first question, is there any way to determine which weekday the 1st of January will fall on for any year?

Maybe consumer reports or some other consumer protection agency has statistics on this because you know it is not easy choosing a god to worship what with all the false gods, lazy gods and well... gods who just don't answer prayers. One of the most frustrating things for me as an atheist is the constant assumption that I don't know what I'm talking about. I'm a university student, I read and researched the bible extensively as a teenager, my bookcase is full of books on philosophical and religious considerations, I was brought up in highly religious communities, I went the four different primary schools and they were all CofE. Clearly, I know nothing about religion.
