The problem with us is that we want a god that is our personal bell hop that will be at our command and do what we say. God is not like that. He is Almighty and has power beyond our comprehension. Beside Him there is none other. He answers prayer according to his great wisdom. He answers prayer in the correct timing. God is never too late even when we think He is late. We ask amiss for our own selfish pleasures and not for things that really are beneficial to us, because we don't have a clue. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Of course in the delighting your heart will be changed and your desires too. Along the way you will discover a God who is the God and who answers prayers according to His will. Of course there is one prerequisite. You have to be honestly questing for Truth.
