with the new rule change and the 2 line pass eliminated... would it be a very dangerous thing for players to come out of retirement like Scott Stevens, or Vladimir Konstantinov... would they be a terrifying threat on the ice due to their love for open ice, high speed hits.. or will they be simply skated around???

Hi - does anyone know of a good dictionary website. I'm looking for the word "cathartic" at the moment. Also, there are "new" words such as "proactive" which are not in the ordinary dictionaries. Any suggestions. (NB. I am in Australia, not that that makes a huge difference).

I don't know what kind of shrubs they are.

If I can hack 'em back, when's the best time to do that?

sisters.. I was considering the account of Mary and Martha in the bible. That these two sisters are a true picture and pattern for us as we serve in our own churches and homes.
Both Mary and Martha sat at the feet of the Lord to listen to His word. Some would say that Martha was Miss busy busy and was too occupied with serving the Lord with food to sit still at His feet to hear what He had to say...
Some would also say that Mary chose the better way because she dropped everything and sat at the Lord's feet and because of that she truly HEARD what He was saying regarding His death and Resurrection.
I put this to you sisters that we need to be a combination of the two. Having a Serving spirit. One that does not just jump up to do what we THINK the Lord wants but being those who sit at His feet listening to His preference then rising up to serve with a serving spirit all the ones under our care.

I'm old enough to remember young girls having to resort to the "back ally" or a European holiday. I suspect that the pro-life advocates are promoting unenforcible laws, unless they are planning to resort to police state tactics. In my opinion, the cause of most abortions are of two kinds. Fear of public censure i.e. loss of status and loss of income i.e not enough to support quality of life. Unless the pro-life advocates are willing to deal with cause and effect, their efforts will be fruitless as well as destructive.

I have tried to talk to her about this but she will NOT listen. I tell her that I need time alone and I need other friends but she refuses to hear what I am saying. This has been going on for well over two years. I have a friend that lives away from here that tells me I am more than welcome to come visit. I have met many people I consider to be 'holy' or 'sacred' who aren't Christians (although I have met many holy Christians). Do you think that belief in a God is necessary to have this characteristic? I feel we are inherently divine by nature but that's just me......Thoughts?
