I am turning 21 next Friday and my ex husband ( we seperated two weeks ago and we've been together for 6 years not legally married but he's like my husband) asked me to go out and celebrate it with him. The only thing is that i have no clue of where i want to go. I live in Dallas, TX and i have no idea of where a romantic place we could go to also make up and get back together...Help me any ideas of where to go or what i should do instead....Thank you'll i would really appreciate it...

my husband had a credit card that went into collections. i had made a payment of 65.00 which was the total amount past due but it had already been sent to collections without me knowing and of course they still took the 65 dollars. well i talked to the collection agency and they agreed to settle however i had to pay the total amount at that time. i told them i could pay the full amount and they refused to break up that payments. i told them that when my finacial situation changed i would contact them to pay the bill and hung up without hearing what they had to say. two secs later they called back. i have refused to answer the phone when they call. is there anything i can do stop these annoying phone calls. i would like to pay it off however i feel i have been treated unfairly. what do you think? and what can i do to stop these calls

Banks have been being robbed for hundreds of years. Why don't they wake up to the level of the threat and tighten up their security tactics? It's very suspicious to me. Is it a little suspicious to you too?

I'm a retired private investigator. I'm suspicious of everything and everybody. I'd rather be suspicious of something that's really innocent, than ignore something that is a potential threat.

Is it safe to burn at the suggested speed? I have a 16X DVD burner and I'm using 8x media. DVDfab has a recommended speed. Is it safe to use that or should I burn at 8X?

Ok so Im going to be an uncle from my wife's side for the first time right now. We are all South African and we live in SA. The mother is my wife's sister and the dad is Afrikaans so decided an Afrikaans name for the baby boy. They shortened the list down to Morne(Mor-nay) Ettienne(Et-tee-enn). The last name is De Villiers.

"retard"?
I know many people throw it around as an insult but mental retardation is a serious medical condition, not a term meant for slander. People with cognitive disabilities are stigmatized enough, wouldn't it be nice if people stopped using the word in this way? Will you make a commitment to stop using it in a negative way? It would mean a lot to many individuals and families.

I've asked this question before, but now that we had Alex tested (EEG, blood, urine, spinal fluid) for seizures, all tests came back normal. However, he continues to have these "spells" and the doctors also ruled out "breath holding spells". Alex had the worst "spell" last night, while trying to breast feed him, he got really upset and once again, screamed as if someone was hurting him, then clenched his fists, held his breath, turned beet red, tightened up his body, glazed eyes with no response. I called his name, caressed his head, rubbed his body to stimulate him but once these "spells" take over, it has to take its course. Alex did not respond to me at all. Once the "spell" was over, he went limp, closed his eyes and rested for a few seconds then he went back to his normal state. I'm extremely worried and scared since he has gone undiagnosed. Its a mystery to our pedicatrician as well as to the neurologist. I'm at my wits end. Please help.

Thinking back over the past year,i ignored the signs that my wife may be in contact with another man.She asked for a divorce this past April.She said it just wasn't working out. I asked her for the truth and she swore on a bible in front of me there was no one else.Last week i found out she has reconected with a man from 20 years ago.He moved her to his city,rented her a town house for her to live in.Problem is that he is married and has 8 kids.His wife left him around the time i started being suspicious about her behaivior.All the subtle clues she gave me know make sense.I have spoken to this guys wife and she says my wife and her husband had been texting up to ten times a day going back some 10 months.While i was still married.His wife didn't know he was paying all her expenses.I guess i blew the cover on that secret...All i ever asked of my wife was the truth,she couldn't do it.How can she live with herself,does she have no shame or guilt about what she is doing,to me.Makes me sick.

Ok, I liked the harry potter series and all but now i dont know wat to do now that the series is over. I think (and I hope everyone agrees) that jk rowling should make a new series.The new series would be all about harrys kid Albus Severus who is mentioned in the epilouge that he is going to his first year at hogwarts. Then he could continue the Potter series with all new adventures. Who Thinks this would be a great idea and who thinks this would be lame?

I'm just wondering if it is possible that I could be losing my mucas plug?! I went in today for my weekly check-up, I'm 39 weeks and am dialated to 1 1/2cm. I've been home a few hours now but I noticed when I went to the bathroom that I have a lot of thick mucasy discharge. I'm not sure about the coloring though. It's reddish/pinkish/brownish/the clearish all in one? lol. Just wondering if the doctor's exam could have caused this?! And if so how long does it generally take to go into labor after I've lost it. I am sooo ready to have my daughter. My next appointement, I will be one day over-due if she is not here by then and the thought of having to go to another appointment is driving me nuts!!!

My brother and his wife bought a car over the weekend from Bob Roman Honda in Lafayette, Indiana.
The manager took them into his office, they signed a binding contract for the purchase and the loan (I saw it) and drove it home.
Well on Monday the dealership called and said they needed to come in and "rewrite" the contract.
When they got there, they were presented a loan with almost 2 percentage point higher and required an additional $750
Well since they didn't have any more cash to put down they couldn't buy the car.
The next day the dealer called again and said that they needed to pay for the mileage they drove the car.
It already had about a 1.000 miles on a new car and they put on an additional 100 on it.
Guess what, it came to $750 and the manager said it could be added to the loan.
How can they renegotiate a contract after the fact?
