Ok, I liked the harry potter series and all but now i dont know wat to do now that the series is over. I think (and I hope everyone agrees) that jk rowling should make a new series.The new series would be all about harrys kid Albus Severus who is mentioned in the epilouge that he is going to his first year at hogwarts. Then he could continue the Potter series with all new adventures. Who Thinks this would be a great idea and who thinks this would be lame?

I want to be selfish & say yes but I honestly think it's time to move on from Harry. He deserves a quiet life in my mind so I picture his kids getting into trouble something that might upset that. I think it would be great to have another "Magical" series, maybe something do to with Magic but not directly related to Harry. She's created this beautiful world we all want to be a part of (& have become a part of in reading these books & loving the characters) so we don't want to see it end. I think the possibilities are endless at this point.

Since JKR has stated that she will not write any more Harry Potter books (except for the encyclopedia), the point is moot. It doesn't matter how good an idea it is if *she* isn't interested in it. Meanwhile, there is a whole world chock-full of great books to read. Here are just a few:

i think it would be a wonderful idea. but we need to give rowling a break. it must have been a little irritating trying to get the last book out with everyone hovering over her. i think she needs a little break so that she can spend some time with her family. also, she might not want to write about harry potter anymore, or his son. i have heard that she is planning on making an 8th book that will act as a harry potter/hogwarts encyclopedia so that she can add little extra details that she couldn't in the other novels.

I love Harry and all the books, but there's a time to say good-bye. actually 2 of his kids are at Hogwart's. JK Rowling is writing a new series that I've read is a mystery/detective book.

I like the idea but do not think it wont be as good as the other harry potter books.

J.K. Rowling is already writing a mystery book. I loved Harry(I'm 75) but he's gone.
