I graduated from Bakersfield College this spring & got my Associate's in Accounting. The problem is is that I'm approaching all these businesses in town, filling out applications, & walking out feeling pessimistic 'cause I know they would hire someone else w/ more experience. & my resume is embarrassingly light; no work or volunteer experience. Even some temp agencys require that I need work exp.! Damn! What do I oughta do the next time I respond 2 a "Help Wanted" sign by a store's window or once I registered on Home Depot.com hoping that there's a job available 4 me?

"Interpretive Assumptions..."

I'm going by the definition of the words "Fact" and "Verifiable" as put forth in the English Dictionary...

Why do so many people use the word "fact" when what they're really saying is "assumption" and "belief" and "faith?"

There's a very big difference in the meanings, I would appreciate if people would start using the appropriate words for the appropriate points they're trying to make...

Wouldn't that strengthen their viewpoint if they were more accurate in their choice of words...?

I need help because I'm always super paranoid about being pregnant. I always have this fear that if things are going well for me then i will get pregnant because I'm not allowed to have things go really well and I need to be punished as a way for the universe to balance or something (i know its messed up!). Things are going well for me now. I just graduated college in May and got a really good job right after i graduated. I just got a new car, and i've been dating a great guy for about 6 months now. So im really scared that i could get pregnant anytime and my life would be ruined. But im 23 and i've never had sex. Sometimes my bf touches me down there then i get really scared that i'm going to get pregnant from that! Help!

had three good bites(violation notices)yesterday from the aptly named cyber bully, the latest identity of our troll
whilst i am an ardent supporter of freedom of speech some of the abuse this sick individual has been dishing out to the likes of J-lo, barbie and miss p is sickening,and Yahoo should hang it's corporate head in shame at its innefectivness in stopping this
there is a school of thought that if you ignore people like this they will get bored and go away, what actually happens is that their current victim goes away, and the bully moves on to their next target
clearly, my statments made to this person yesterday have had an effect, and they have been hurt by my percivied truths.

please note that i have no intention of being drawn into a copycat game of blocking their answers, posting violations etc, and my site is fully acsessable to all, i have no fear of bullys

I make my coffee really strong, then i have a huge coffee cup and put 3 tbs of sugar and 3 of creamer. :O it may seem like alot but its a really big cup of coffee and the only drink i have besides water all day :D

i had another bump like this before and squeezed it also and the same thing came out.
what came out was a small black looking pebble and it was hard.

any ideas on what it is?

I've been trying to find some good Navy movies or documentaries that talk or film about regular sailors in combat situations; like See-Bees or Navy Swifties in vietnam. I saw the "Mighty Sea Bees" with John Wayne and that was excellent. I recently saw "Acolyposcy(SP?) Now". That was movie was horrible. I'm currently reading a Navy Swifty book called "War on the rivers" and it's action packed.

Any other movies, documentaries or books that is recommended?

please people im desperate for help..i just dont know what to do nymore.. im so confused and im just going soo crazy.. i really like this guy and he's the type of person that doesnt settle down and is always partying and he hasnt been in a relationship for 2 years, but he asked me to be his girlfriend 4 times but i have a boyfriend and he loves me with all his heart but he lives far away and he says im his first love and its true, i talked to his bff but we argue everyday and i never see him, i only saw him 2wice and we've been together for 2 mnths, i just dont know what to do, i dont wanna be hella ****** up to him like my first love was to me, please help me.. ='(
