You are a responsible person. You need to call and tell your supervisor that you are ill. Leaving them in limbo is not fair. What if you were needed for a project to provide input and you were no where to be found. People do worry about co-workers believe it or not.

If you aren't going to go to work, you should definitely call. Talk to your immediate supervisor. Not showing up for work without calling could get you fired. Also, if people notice that you aren't around they might worry about you like wonder if you were in a car accident or something.
I'm sorry you're not feeling well and I hope you feel better soon.

A good way to get fired if you don't call.
If you're the Boss, your people need to know.

Is your boss cool? Then call. If he's a loser, don't call.
