I heard there are US websites dedicated to manuals for universities on how-to-set-up-foundations.

I just wonder if anybody here is triskaidekaphobic, and would avoid being the 13th answerer to a question. I was wondering this because I myself just declined to answer a question for just that reason.

Do you know of our brave allied prisoners?

Today in George Square, Glasgow there will be a remembrance walk to commemorate for the first time the acknowledgement that while Britain celebrated Japan's surrender the POW's, regimental and civilian, were still suffering at the hands of the Japanese army.

The FEPOWs (Far East Prisoners of War) endured 3 ½ years of the most horrific mental and physical treatment, including starvation, diseases, over-work, beatings, torture etc. Those lucky enough to return home continued to suffer in silence with ongoing nightmares and bad health, yet they endeavored to try and live normal lives, never complaining or asking for anything. They have never been fully recognized for all the mental and physical torment they went through, and we would like to see that they are permanently honored with a memorial day in their name.

Please post their name, rank and regiment in memoriam.

Ok. I changed the bulbs, didn't help. One tube flickers about half lit, the other not at all. I was told the problem is probably the ballast. I'd prefer to fix it myself rather than whine to some man to feel sorry for me. Thanks.

I am having a really big wedding as in like about 300+ guest coming to my wedding. And Im trying to make it as personal (yet elegant) as possible. I thought of having pictures of me and my fiance from baby pictures to present day pictures placed at the table where the place cards are at I have also thought of maybe having pictures of my parents wedding day as well as his parents wedding day pictures. Both of our parents are still married so it wouldnt be awkward for them. Do you think that would be nice?

I got a kitten on Monday and he's four months old. He's been quite badly treated, he's got fleas, a cold and diarrhea. I think he was being fed adult cat food so I'm feeding him kitten food now but it doesn't seem to be helping. He sleeps a lot but he's generally quite active and playful but I'm getting abit worried it might be more than a problem with his food. The woman we got him off had 8 other cats and was letting him run outside even though he's not had any injections.

Any ideas what might be causing it and what I could do to help him?

A honeybee flies from its hive to a flower 100m away. Then, it returns to the hive and flies to another flower half the distance of the first one. If it keeps flying back and forth to different flowers which are always half the distance of the one before, how far will it have travelled if the last flower is 12.5m away from the hive ?
