Okay, I had my freon recharged, plus my serpentine and timing belts, and the tensioner replaced (which Meinke said would fix it), and the A/C still only blows HOT AIR, no matter what setting it's on. Please help!!

I needed to clear up some space and I had run out of cd's so I formatted an old 3 1/2 floppy and copied word docs and wps. on to the floppy.
Now I'm trying to open the documents I can see them but I get this error box:

X The disk in drive A: is not formatted properly. Please check the disk, and reformat if necessary.

*cancel******** try again ******* Continue

Is the info on the floppy lost to me or is there someway to recover it ?

This line is actually from a comic terzett by Mozart. I am a big Mozart fan and also interested in linguistics and dialects. In fact I am thinking of getting a minor in the German language. If you would like to see "Ja, an Dreck" in it's entire context it can be found at the bottom of the page if you follow this link:http://www.mozartforum.com/VB_forum/showthread.php?t=1557&highlight=bandel+terzett
I realize there is a translation there and it says, "Yes, I've got it up to here with $hit!" But, the reason I ask is because I have seen so many translations of this one line! I've seen what you'd think it means in standard German, "Yes, in the mess (or dirt)," but I also remember somewhere along the line reading that it actually means "***** it" in the Viennese dialect. Is this true?

wouldn't it just be easier to just get a mouthful of whatever you're drinking, go up to the intended person, stand behind them and when you have their attention (remember, your mouth is full so might have to tap them on the shoulder) just gargle REALLY REALLY loud???
;-)

I mean, if they walk away it's obvious that they're superficial and if they stay, they're a keeper , right???

..er...right?

I'm not into hunting, I like guns but not to do any harm to animals. If you are not wasting the animal then I understand, I was curious though which is a quicker kill and or less painful. I know my Uncle prefres a BO.

As an HGV driver I had to pass a stringent driving test before being allowed to drive articulated vehicles on the public highways. And am subject to reams of regulations. While any car driver - with a full driving licence & 2 years experience driving a 'Puddle Jumper' can stick a 'Wobbly Box' onto the towbar & tootle off down the road without any training & end up 'Jack-knifed' in a ditch or spread all over the motorway wondering why it all went pear-shaped. Also should they be taxed & subject to yearly M.O.T style tests - as are HGV trailers. By the way. if you are in any doubt, I am ANTI CARAVANS so have a very large axe to grind!! This should stir up a hornets nest with a bit of luck. I look forward to the good debate I am expecting from the comments off the 'Why tax our hobby' brigade!

In the swampy soup of hopefuls for the 2008 presidential election, there is a man with a funny name. (No, not that one.)

We're thinking of the one named Fred (Thompson).

Say it out loud. Do it. Fred. Fred. In the South, Fray-ud.

Fur-red-duh.

It has the tonal quality of something being dropped on the floor, something heavy and damp-ish.

Waterlogged paper towel.

Fred.

If a man (my daddy) and a woman (my mommy) arent married and have a child (me) together but takes off with child. Though still in contact (but only when mommy supervises), how does the man (my daddy) get visitation rights to see his child (me) when woman (my mommy) says no? They never married and mommu said she just up and left and didnt tell daddy anything. She said back then she was really mean, and she doesnt want me around daddy? I want to see daddy and daddy wants to see me. What do I do and how can I help daddy, get visitation rights?
