lets face it, america has a socialist school system where there is no competition among schools to be better than anything except football. there's no motivation. teacher's unions prevent unqualified teachers from being fired, and as a result we students who don't even know what the soviet union was. only a minority can go to public schools where there is plenty of competition for the parents' money. teachers are fired when they don't perform. say what you want about brainwashing their students, at least they aren't brainwashed into depending on government for everything.
why do liberals continue to support something that has failed long ago? why not open up school districts and let the taxpayer money follow the student to whatever school he/she chooses to attend? the europeans understand this, and ironically, they allow public school competition while paying much less per student on education.

Seniors are qualified, but it's hard to find jobs that match our skills and abilities. It is said that companies want to hire seniors because we are reliable, but we find it hard to find those jobs, unless we want to make only minimum wage. What's up with that concept?

How many different groups are there that claim to be Christian?

My original phrasing of the question was going to be, "How many different denominations are there within Christianity?" But I saw that others had asked similar questions and received silly answers, such as, "There are NO denominations within TRUE Christianity." So, now my question is this.

Approximately, how many different established groups CLAIM to be Christian?

Jehovah's Witnesses do a lot of research, so I often trust their findings. They themselves claim to be Christain and say that there are approximately 35,000 different denominations that claim to be Christian. But who can be sure?

I know that there are NO denominations withing TRUE Christianity. But that is a BIG fight.

So what do we think? 35,000 sound right?

Hi I am TTC and due my period any day now. I came off the contraceptive pill in may so my periods are not guaranteed on a certain day (anywere between 30-35 days), my last cycle being 34 days and LMP 5th July. I have recently had some minor cramping, mood swings, break outs, bloating.
I did a hpt on thurs or fri last week and got BFN.
Today I have got a slight pink colour in my discharge (sorry TMI!) Is this a good sign? Is it still to early to test and get an accurate result? I didn't want to test too early and get another BFN which could be untrue and dishearten me.

Ok my hubby has always liked the name Lief (sounds like leaf), ever since he was little. I believe he is determined to name our son that. Which Im fine with by the way.
