I am student teaching this year and am trying hard to look professional. I have never been good at fashion, but I want to look like I belong in a high school setting as a teacher.
So today I would like to know about shoes.

Should I be wearing heals or can I get away with flats? I am 5'3".
What colors or styles work well?
I have a pair of black, high-healed boots from payless.

Thanks for any shoe advice (or even pictures) you can give. I am trying to build up a decent wardrobe before school starts so I can walk in feeling professional.
:)

He moved out three weeks ago. He is really depressed. He isn't seeing anyone else. He said today if I lost 20-25 pounds over the next two-three months then that would prove to him that I was serious about working on our marriage. Currently I'm 5'6'' and 157 pounds. What should I do? Divorce him? Or lose the weight? My weight has always been an issue I use to be 193 pounds.

I received a letter from a "family owned" business saying I was entitled to money as a former landowner. My home was sold in a sheriff's sale for delinquent property taxes. According to the letter I am entitled to money from the government under current law. I searched Indiana's unclaimed money and my name didn't come up. Is there such a law or is this a scam?

Hey aviation monkeys......(Hipocritical....)..After 2.5 years f searching, exploring, and deperateness for the "porra" attitude to go away....My father finally sined me up for a PPL or (PPA.."Porra" Language) starting this summer; August 8th. However due to there being 2 people in a 25 person course, we decided for me to attend an ATPL course but for a PPL License (Passing the ATPL Exams will simply then allow me to do the practicals for each license PPL, CPL, and eventually the ATPL :P....I was wondering, in terms of subjects or like detail or whatever the difference is for the PPL groundschool, difficulty (duhr), etc. compared to ATPL groundschool characteristics....Par sei, i feel the ATPL would have to do mroe with AIRLINER passenger safety like oxygen vents and such...Thanks! (I know more about aviation than you guys probably think....sounds cocky or like a rookie who thinks he does but ok wtv :D)...

We found a spider in the room the other night that resembled a daddy long legs with the exception of a larger body and a white belly. My friend took a whiff of the spider and described it as a drug trip. Hazy vision, completely disorientated, drooling, numb face, cold/numb nose, itching like crazy, nausea/vomiting, delirious.. Any clue what this thing was?

Sorry if this is in the wrong category. Couldn't find anything that had to do wtith spider questions.

Look we all the the internet hype about what will occur. About the Mayan Calender lets be logical, could it be they ran out of space and became and obselete race before they could have created a new calender? Also if the new Calendar started some five thousand years ago it must be documented what happened at the "end" of the last long count calendar. What worries me is there is no scientific data what occurred 26,000 years ago when there was the last alignment of the earth and the milky way. When that happens ,what happesn to the earth? What happens to the human race, did the last set of people survive? Ill like to hear from actual scientist.

I live in Suffern New York and I've recently started construction on my new house. While they were working, the crew saw a few very large snakes, not sure that they were rattlesnakes though. But there is a park behind the house (behind a river) where it says to watch out for rattlesnakes and the previous owner of the property also said that they came into her basement on several occasions, along with some really big spiders. I am still continuing construction of the house, but i want to get rid of the snakes since they are a serious threat to my children. How can i get rid of them without killing/hurting them, since they are a protected species in my area? Btw, I have already bought very good windows for the basement and theres no way to stop building the house now. Thanks in advance.
