Because the "War of Independence" has been over for 220+ years. Contrary to some opinions, England is an ally now.

Where have you been? We have already been through two World Wars with England as our allies...
Did you know we now are trading with communist Vietnam? Totally worth the war we had with them

Got a jap car I bet or at least most parts made there
