This year is just practice for the Brew crew, all the roster moves and call ups were meant for '08---we are AHEAD of schedule...Now as for the Cubs when you lose it ''AGAIN'' this year be it to the Brewers, Padres (wild card) or even the Cards how will you feel (lol)??

the definition("blind belief") is false and mainly used by atheist to try and justify the idea that they dont have and dont use faith.

By the Biblical definition:Hebrews11:6-Faith is the substance of things hoped for,and the evidence of things not yet seen.

Everybody would technically fit into the first half of that definition;becuase even atheist are hoping for something.The only difference being theist hope and believe for God,while atheist hope and believe for God not to be real.So everybody technically fit in that definition of faith.
Where thiest and atheist part ways is the second half "and the evidence of things not yet seen.".This would apply to people with faith,since we are willing to trust God for something though we havnt yet seen it;while atheist refuse to believe and accept without scientific physical proof;which is where the error is made in understandng faith.

So everybody does have faith(first half of Heb 11:6);difference is where we put or dont put that faith

My face feels just so oily all the time. I wash my face in the morning, and before I go to bed, and when I take a shower. But during the day it just feels so oily and gross so I wash it again. I'm 11 yrs old, in case you need to know. Plz help!

i just got back from china on sunday, and this time it seems i'm having a hard time adjusting to US time. i only stayed a month in china. i'm having problems sleeping at night. china's time is 13 hours ahead of us. i usually try to go to sleep at night but wake up at 2 in the morning, and just stay awake for the next 4 hours, and then i'm tired throughout the day. what are ways to adjust to the time here?

Did anyone else find it freaking HILARIOUS how they played church organ music in the background every time Jameka started talking about how she was picked to play in the POV competition as a sign from God for her to help Jen get off the chopping block??? I read an answer which highlighted America as the greatest democracy in the world. I was wondering if this is a view many Americans or anyone else for that matter shares.
After all American is only a two party state compared to many European countries which employ proportional representation or have elections open to any party.
It took America a couple of decades longer than Britain and had to fight a civil war before they abolished slavery.
Theres never been a female president. America is still very much classist, the gap between the rich and poor is immense.
It is much harder to migrate, for what ever reason, to the US than many European countries.
Do Americans really believe that there the greatest democracy ever?

My boss is giving me a hard time because I'm unable to go to a 5 day long corporate business meeting (lectures and boozing...2000 miles away), because I have 2 very important doctor's appointments that week. She's insisting that I reschedule these appointments so that I can attend the meeting, but I was on a 3 month long waiting list for one of the appointments, and I'm not about to jeopardize my health to wait another couple weeks or so to get in, and I shouldn't have to. Needless to say, she's pissed, and is coming to my store tomorrow to "talk" with me. I won't cave, but I just have this feeling that she'll try to make me feel like I should put work before health. She's not an understanding person whatsoever.
What are the laws against this type of treatment? And can anyone direct me to a website that state these laws? Can I sue the company if I get an ultimatum? Thanks for your help.

Ok, I have been considering getting a tattoo for a long time but I want exactly what I want, or I don't want it, and I don't know if it is even possible. I am in a sorority and our symbol is a diamond as in a shape like this <> So I want a light blue diamond with white stars in the two corners. I just want blue and white-No black at all.
I want this because it is a symbol of purity, and the symmetry of a balanced life and the stars represent beauty of character and beauty of mind.

Ex. Bern Nadette Stanis was viewed by many as a sex symbol, if you've watched goodtimes the character (Thelma) was not this at all, Bern Nadette herself stated the character is a positive role model and not intended to be a sex symbol. Also have found that alot of guys that consist of other races view black women this way so they just see them as sexual and not someone they could see themselves dating.

i had an ex-boyfriend who cheated on me last year with some girl he was messing around with before he got with me. of course i was heart broken and very hurt. i loved him so much that i decided to look past it and give him ONE more chance. well to be honest im kind of a flirt and he found some e-mails where i tell some guys they are cute and all that crap but i swear i never had any intentions to take it further. he forgave me for "cheating" back which might be considered cheating on some level but he couldn't get past it sometimes which made me mad because i was trying so hard to let go. he tells me what i did was much worse because im a girl and i can't go around doin what guys do. and i said what he did was worse because he had SEX with her and i just flirted. he insisted what i was did worse and that we can never be equal which i think is bullshit. i didn't even touch anyone let alone screw them. im just wondering why SOME guys think they are higher than girls??
