Ok, I have been considering getting a tattoo for a long time but I want exactly what I want, or I don't want it, and I don't know if it is even possible. I am in a sorority and our symbol is a diamond as in a shape like this <> So I want a light blue diamond with white stars in the two corners. I just want blue and white-No black at all.
I want this because it is a symbol of purity, and the symmetry of a balanced life and the stars represent beauty of character and beauty of mind.

it is possible but i wouldn't trust just any tattoo artist to do that for you because the majority of them couldn't acomplish what you want and have you be satisfied with it. you'd need to go to a custom tattoo artist that does some photorealism to be able to give it some depth. i WOULD suggest using some black as shading to give a shadow behind it to make it look more real and 3-D but you should definitely get in touch with a custom tattoo artist in your area. if you email me i'd be glad to help you find someone in your area.

also, don't listen to the people that tell you to just go to any shop and the artist will be able to draw it out for you, not all tattooers are artists and very few tattoo artists are phenomenal. a custom tattoo artist is definitely the way to go for what you want.
good luck.

This is possible, but most tattoo artists won't advise it. All tats seem to take better with a black outline, so thats why they want to use one. They most likely will not want to do the white stars without an outline either. I know that white is a hard color to put into the skin and is usually only used for accenting the piece. If you look around enough - you will find someone to do it. Remember to use sunblock religiously after the tat is healed to reduce fading and blurring. Good luck.

White ink is used to accent, it can't be a primary color. Go to the artist and explain what you'd like, and he'll work with you on it, just be prepared to know that you can't get white as a main design.

yea you can get it in color, just ask for it. Some tattoo shops don't offer color so make sure you find one that does. Also, some tattoo shops have the option of glow in the dark!

If you have a Friend that can sketch it out for you then you can have it put on. Some guys will free hand it, make sure yours will use the design exactly as you design it.
