How many tablespoons is 4.5 oz or how many tablespoons is 100g? I am mixing sea salt for my hermit crabs.

4.5 US fluid ounces = 9 US tablespoons

If you're talking about 4.5 US ounces (weight), then you would have to know the density of table salt.

100 grams = 3.5 ounces (weight) approximately

Pure salt has a density of 2.165 g/cc, thus 100 g would have a volume of 100/2.165 = 46.2 cc. This is equal to just over 3 tbsp.

But this is for solid NaCl. Table salt will be considerably less dense, thus more voluminous.

Nonetheless, you can see there is a big difference between ounces and fluid ounces.

My advice is to find a scale somewhere.

About 8. There's 16 ounces in a pint so 1.5 oz must be around 8.

oz is a weight measure
table spoon in a volume measure
You can only compare the two under the assumption that the volume is filled with a liquid of known mass.
