A friend of mine has been living here for about 3 years and he wants to join as a soldier translator aide. He's on a tourist visa. He contacted three recruiters and asked them if he can join. They all said no. He even asked them if they could sign a waiver, but they said they can't....he has to be a permanent citizen. They let dangerous criminals in but won't let someone who has a clean background and who is willing to help the soldiers with his Arabic. Does this make any sense to you?

At what point of your life do you realize you will not be famous, rich or powerful? When do you find peace with the fact that you will have a normal, uneventful life and your fantasies of being an actress or famous writer will never come true? I know you can always have hope and your dreams but when do you accept what you have been given and can truly be content? I'm nearly 22 and I think I'm in the transition phase between the two stages. There's this guy i've been IM-ing for the past couple of months...and we've been talking everyday and stuff
and like for two weeks now,whenever i say Hi to him or whatever,he ignores me!
and i know hes there,cuz hes always Online but i have no idea why he isnt talking to me....we didnt even like quarrell or anything last time we talked..i mean ok so i was a bit sarcastic,but im always sarcastic,he should know that from the first day he talked to me...

I really want to lose weight
i am 13 and am 5 foot 7 and i weigh 170 and im really fat!!
I WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT REALLY BAD BUT I DONT WANT MY PARENTS TO FIND OUT!!!

My central air run capacitor went out it was 440 volts 20 microfarads can i use a capacitor with 450v 16mf?
anyways bottom line will a 450volt 16 micro farad work
it takes a 440 volt 20 micro farad capacitor

It's food coloring.

When I first started eating Moroccan dishes they always had it in there and I wasn't very adept at using the bread and my fingers would always be died orange. lol

I know what you're going to say. You're just a little kid looking for attention. But I hand over my life to you.
I really don't know what to do anymore.
Nothing seems to make me truly happy.
What can I do?
Everything I used to love is stupid now, I can't just give up and commit suicide.
No one seems to understand me, I can't seem to love or express emotions.
And I really don't like dumping it all on people.
I feel socially incapable of acting normal around people. And always feel fat/ugly. I have major self essteem issues.
Always feel paranoid. Or crazy....litteraly.

alright . before i even start this question . i am NOT fishing for compliments. so dont even start with that sh!t .

Anyways, my question is : people always tell me that im pretty and that im gonna grow up and be "hot" im concerned that if i dont grow up being "hot" that im gonna be disappointed with myslelf. so what would you do? ( and yes i do have low-self asteem) i do take things hard on myself. all my life people have treated me like im a no-one. so its really hard for me to have a higher asteem .
