I just think it is very silly that some people do this and they dont look at every issue that affects them or could affect them. Yes, they could support and elect the person that represents their particular veiws on certain pieces of legislation that they are very passionate about, but what about other pieces that may be of more importance to the greater good of the country, including themselves, in the long run?

what is the typical age for grad students?
realistically speaking, what is expected of you when you apply (GPA, job experience, etc.)?

i'm sorry this is so vague. i'm still somewhat undecided on what kind of grad school i'm interested in applying to ... possibly media studies, economics, psychology, marketing, advertising. i'm currently majoring in psychology and economics, but i truly want to do something related to media/magazines/pop culture (not film school though). please help! thanks!

I have been fighting my case from over three years now and have been to the full commission but nothing is being done about the misconduct of this very large hospital group here in NC which is growing like cancer.
I have filed against two attorneys with the Bar Assoc, one for withholding documents and lying in court---I have documents & taped recordings of phone calls to prove my side--still nothing is being done. The hospital misplaced some very important documents which could have been enough to have me fired if I hadn't made copies for myself back when I was first hired.
With all the problems of misconduct in the upper NC offices such as Mike Nifong, Speaker of the House Black, how can anyone know that there is justice alive and well anywhere in this state?

Breast milk at night and formula during the day? My nipples are sore from breast feeding, and I thought that perhaps sparing them during the day would work better for me and the baby...but is this a good idea?

The moon-hoax theorist Bart Sibrel is a little weird, but his short films of the great astronauts of past (Neil Armstrong, John Young, etc.) are really interesting because they lose their tempers. I have NEVER seen them do this. What are your thoughts on seeing these great men 'lose it' a little? Was it kind of a 'novel' thing or interesting for you to see? (I know they were justified in getting annoyed).

Alot of christians say that by allowing homosexuals to marry they are distroying the sacred institution of marriage. I dont see how this fits the bill : i mean how often do you hear a woman saying "oh, look at Bill and John, I wish we had a relationship like theirs". The real threat to marriage is divorce. If you want to protect marriage why dont you ask the government to make it final instead of denying it to other people who dont fit your definition of morally correct?? If you did this people would think twice about getting married too fast. But there probably would be alot more murdered spouses too. Just a thought.

My mother-in-law needs breast reduction surgery. The Dr. Wants his fee ($6000) paid before he does the procedure. He says that is because he has trouble collecting from medicare.

My mother-in-law says that she called medicare and got approval for the surgery.

My question is how do I make sure the Surgeon makes an effort to collect from Medicare. (it's my $6000)

Using pea plants as an example. Characteristics of an organism is determined by a pair of factors. If the two factors are different, only the dominant will show effect.

1) Regarding the pair of factors, is one from each parent?

2) And also, is it possible that the dominant allele is the trait for shortness? Cause it's often said that T (tall) is the dominant, and t (short) is the recessive... can it be vice versa?

Jn 1:3 says that Jesus created "all things", but in Isa 44:24, God says that he "by myself created the heavens and the earth" and asks the question "Who was with me?" when the heavens and the earth were created. How can this be since if Jesus had been created by God, then he would have been with God when everything else was created?
