Here's the difference between the two; the destination the plane is going, we all know, is in fact *real*. That's why we fly in that plane to that destination. Whether or not the plane will reach its destination, is up to either the pilot or the state of the plane, but we all know that 99% of the planes actually do reach their destinations. We have heard from people actually going to that destination and coming back. Most of us have done it ourselves.
God's kingdom is a place none of us has ever been, no one knows if it's real at all. If we should believe it is real, without ever having been there or have heard of accounts from people who have been there, that belief would be called blind faith. And chances are that your journey to God's kingdom might never end in that kingdom at all, it might not even exist.
And to be honest, I would prefer to hop on a plane where the pilot says it's going to Dublin, rather than one where the pilot says it's going to God's kingdom.
Call me old-fashioned, but I really would...

The chances of god existing are many orders of magnitude lower than that.
And what about the 99.9 % chance that you are following the wrong religion, or do the other 1,000 out there not count?

I'd take my chances on the plane.
I'm a risk taker.
But as for the second part of your question, I'd far rather spend eternity in hell, provided one exists, than in a heaven surrounded by religious zealots. Hell is more my style.

Depends on how important is was to get there.
And your analogy sucks. Its more like one in a few billion there is a god, and that is way better odds than the reality of getting on any plane..

roflmao.... 10% is an awfully high chance, don't you think?
Its more like a 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000009%
chance that a god exists. And even that number is high.

Because it would take longer to travel by boat, duh, and look what happened to the Titanic. No form of transport is 100% safe, oh well, I guess we should all sit at home and not go anywhere. Lol.
