A man is walking on the beach when he trips over a lamp. A few seconds later, a genie pops out and says, "I’m required to grant three wishes, but since you did not treat my lamp with respect, I will give twice what you get to the person you hate most—your boss."

The man agrees and makes his first wish: "I want lots of money." Instantly $20 million appears in bags on the beach, and $40 million appears in his boss’ bank account.

Next the man asks for an incredible sports car. Instantly a Lamborghini appears, and at the same moment, two show up outside his boss’ house.

Finally the genie says, "You have but one wish left; you should choose carefully."

The man says, "Well, I’ve always wanted to donate a kidney."

I believe you should walk on the right side of the sidewalk, and anyone who comes prancing towards you should either move away, or be urinated on (and laughed upon).
Walking the sidewalk is like driving - stick to the right side, unless you're a homosexual Brit, who drive on the left side.

Okay, my husband grew up a Church of Christ and I grew up as a non denominational. Recently, my husband got back into his church. After 20 years, he goes back. Today my daughter went with him and she said that the preacher said, at the end of the surmon that, "It's a shame that all these other denominations, such as Catholic, Baptist, Methodist... can bring people in when they're not really Christians, or believers and our own chuch, which is the ONE TRUE CHURCH with the real truth can't rally people in." It's just that sort of sermon that made me stop going with my husband years ago. When my husband is going he constantly says that I'm a "non believer" and he tries to force his beliefs on me. Now, he's trying to do the same to my kids. My kids have a church that they love... Also, my mother in law was out of the picture for a while and it's her that is telling my husband that he needs to, "get back with the church". How do I handle this? She's tried to cause trouble in my marriage.

I've been told by two reliable mechanics that Saabs and Volvos with automatic transmission are much more likely to need major repairs or replacement than the same make with manual transmission. I'm seriously considering either a used Saab (a 2000 model year) or Volvo (1999) both with over 65,000 miles. Both cars are being sold by the original owners who have all the maintenance records, and mechanically everything else checks out, including clean Carfax reports. I drove cars with manual transmssion for 15 years and strongly prefer an automatic.

A few months back I found land for $10,000 in Spring Texas on e-bay, but did not have the savings back then and have had no luck finding similar values so far.

I am just looking for a basic .5 acre-or-larger lot to invest in (and later build a home on).
Are there any online sites, real-estate, auction, or otherwise that would sell land in that price range (that wouldn't be more than 30 miles outside the city), for a clear title?

Im 27 and so not that old, but when i started driving we all drove £500 pieces of c**p. Now all 17-22 year olds seem to only want to drive brand new cars. Are people in their late teens/early 20's becoming more materialistic?

I am pretty sure this guy likes me. Actually I am sure. We went out on a date not very long ago and it was good. He seems quite shy though, like every time he went to hold my hand he would ask me first. I want to do something cute, but not too risky just in case he doesn't feel the same way.

So guys, what would you think if someone did this to you... At the end of the date, while at my door I plan to say "Can I tell you a secret?" He will of course say yes and lean in slightly and then I will give him just a peck on the lips, lean out and smile while looking into his eyes, then wink and go inside.

Is that a bad idea?
