Can't you find a neighbor you've done some small work or childcare for? A relative you've done housework, yardwork or errands for?
If not, state that you have no professional refs, and offer refs from relatives/neighbors who can vouch for your dependability or talents.

That is often a standard question, and alas, these forms are not customized for people new to employment. Just use people you know who can comment on your general traits (being polite, prompt, organized, go-getter). If your parents have friends that have good jobs (their job titles will help you), use them. Former teachers are also fine--even if the only thing they can say is that you did your work well and were always diligent. Don't sweat it.

Then I would list Professional people you have been with that will recommend you . Teachers and such. Know anyone that is currently working where you might be applying at. They can be a reference. I even simply have asked my oldest long time friends to be a reference before.

I suggest you contact the job that you're applying to and ask them specifically. People on yahoo answerers might be wrong. I'll take a guess: I suppose you can put your teachers/professors as references or any volunteering you did.
Better safe than sorry.

Have you babysat or mowed lawns for anyone, use of these people as references? If not you can explain that this is your first "real" job and offer to provide personal references.

Put down anyone you have done volunteer work for, babysitting for, a coach, pastor, or teacher. Someone who can vouch for your integrity and honesty. Do not put relatives or friends down.

You could put an adult with whom you did some kind of project, like volunteer work or a special project at school.

i'd say put respectable friends or friends' parents, or else you can always put your relatives who don't have the same last name as you and tell them not to let on that they're related to you. mainly you want people who sound intelligent and will only have good things to say about you.

You need to put adults that you know or friends that will give you a good reference.
No immediate family members!
