The House of Blues in Cleveland is great! It's only a few years old and its a great venue converted from an old department store. I've never been to any other HOB venues, but from what I heard they spent more money on building the Cleveland location than any others to date. They did a really a nice job with everything; the location, space, sound and even the food in the restaurant is surprisingly good and I don't usually like food at chain restaurants!
Its very popular and they continue to have a really good lineup. I'd recommend you buy tickets in advance if you are thinking of going, but you can probably get them at the door.
The location is great and its right on the corner of E.4th and Euclid which is a revitalized block in downtown Cleveland in terms of apartments, restaurants, and entertainment. They've closed E.4th Street to traffic, strung lights across it, and there's lots of outdoor table seating.
You'll have a lot of fun and I've never heard any complaints from anyone!

Hey!
House of blues is in downtown Cleveland. On E. 4th and Euclid. If your planning to go to a concert or event there, I don't recommend it. You have to stand the entire time. Dont get me wrong it's a very nice place but both experiences there I loved being there and hated it at the same time. Maybe bcuz I was pregnant the 1st time. But I went to see Nelly and was standing 3 hours and he only performed for an hour and 15 minutes. There are seats by the bar and upstairs but you gotta be V.I.P. or get there super early. Hope this helps.

There is a lot of construction going on downtown but if you are thinking about going to a show it is worth it. It is the best venue I have been to in Cleveland. It is standing room only and a pretty intimate venue. Which I think makes for a much better show than someplace like the Q.
