Hugo Chavez announced on Sunday that foreigners who publicly criticize his government will be deported. He ordered officials to monitor statements made by international figures visiting the country.

But I guess it was OK for him to come to the U.S. and critisize Bush?. He can dish it out but he can't take it. How sad.

Did you ever think that maybe the sugar goes out of your urine and mouth because it is trying to force you to loose weight and that it is your bodies natural process?

I am not one to agree with the 'natural' form of things and I don't believe in medications. Though being diabetic forces me to be on them (some of them).

I know having a high blood sugar harms you but so does storing fat.

(this is an honest question, yes i am taking my medication please do not tell me to go to the doctor i've already been there.)

I recently transplanted a reasonably healthy plant into a larger pot, because it was going to outgrow the old one.

The soil I originally had it in was normal Miracle Grow potting soil. The NEW pot meant I had to add the only soil I had laying around-- Moisture Control potting soil.

So, as you can imagine, the old soil sits in the middle while the Moisture Control soil surrounds the old stuff around and underneath.

Since the transplant two weeks ago, my plant has been getting worse and worse, molting leaves and looking sad.

To all the horticulturists out there: Could this mixture of soils be causing my plant distress? Is the law of Osmosis causing water to soak over to the the edges of the pot while the plant gets deprived?

Or should I not be worried? My plant is lookin' awfully sad, though...

Telephone Network ****

American scientists dug 50 meters down in the underground and discovered small pieces of copper. After studying these pieces for a long time, America announced that the ancient Americans 25,000 years ago had a nation-wide telephone network.

Naturally, the Japanese government was not that easily impressed. They ordered their own scientists to dig even deeper. 100 meters down they round small pieces of glass and they soon announced that the ancient Japanese 35,000 years ago already had a nation-wide fiber net.

Filipino scientists were outraged. They dug 200 meters down in the underground, but found absolutely nothing. They happily concluded that the ancient Filipinos 55,000 years ago had cellular telephones.
